“This is a really good German food restaurant, but it's built like a suburban sports bar; so, it's very loud. When I was in there the evening of 10/27/2024, I had perfectly prepared Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelpüree, Rotkohl, und frische eingelegte Gurke. Everything was brilliant. And I had a great, American Sour beer, which complimented the meal perfectly. I'm a fan of Lambics, and would probably drink Lambics with everything I eat, and that sour was a very good substitute. I don't remember its name though...

And I ate alone, at one of several two-tops scattered around the relatively small place, all of them high, rather than "normal" table height. The chair was a typically uncomfortable bar/restaurant chair. The waiters I interacted with were brilliant. They were kind, attentive, and careful; and the man who took my order knew his stuff.

I would recommend Das Bierhalle to anyone who happens to be in Baltimore and who has a hankering for good German food. I suspect you will be pleased you made the effort to get there.

Vegetarian options: This is a typical German restaurant/Bierhalle. I expect a vegetarian could find a meal here, but I don't think I would recommend the place to vegetarians.

Kid-friendliness: This is a bar. Kids are probably not a good idea here, but I know that they do a bang-up take-out business, so parents you should consider Das Bierhalle when you just don't want to cook. Kids love everything that's breaded and fried!

“Fantastic new Black Owned Business w plenty of street parking available, friendly staff and an attractive environment to relax in. I visited w a friend to support another local business who had a pop up shop for her birthday. "French Toast Connection ATL" if you're not familiar. My gf and I sat at the bar upon arrival. Comfy seating w plenty of huge TV screens to watch, a slamming DJ to listen to, and great staff to make sure we had everything we needed. We put in orders for the pop up shop as well as drinks. Everything went quick and smooth. I inquired to the bar tender about their hours and theme nights and they have plenty. Monday Night Football, Taco Tuesdays, etc. I'm definitely gonna return soon to check out Monday Night Football w my Hunny sooner than later !! Go support this small black owned business yall !!“

“Came to watch one of our favorite bands, 1974. My surprise for the evening was enjoying the absolutely best Cheesesteak I've had in a long time. McAvoy's is worth the trip just for the Cheesesteak! Everything else is just a bonus ?“

“Our group of 9 had reserved the party area which was quite spacious and separated from the majority of the restaurant. DeJa was our server. She was capable, helpful and always smiling. The Dungeness crabs were absolutely delicious! The kids loved the crab balls & Key lime pie too. We look forward to our next visit.“
