“It is a very clean carry put that has seating for those ordering take out and those who want to dine in. The owners are pleasant, personable, prompt, and remember you from previous visits. So far, I have only had the fried trout, my parents had the fried catfish, and we have had the collard greens ( that have a little spice) and green beans for dinner. We loved it. The corn muffins are sweet and moist. This is great for a quick dinner or a cheat meal. A small coleslaw comes with each meal and plenty of fries. There are enough fries to share.“

I called the store, by the time I called the employees had realized the mistake and remade our missing pizza x2 and sent them out to be delivered. “Went in with my daughters to order 2 bowls and a burrito. We were greeted at the door by a young man who informed us we would only be able to place an order on the app. I asked why this was and he said he didn't know and asked if I wanted a manager. I said yes and he went to get him. The manager kindly and patiently explained that they were overwhelmed at the grill and for orders in general and this was his way of getting things back right again. They handled everyone that came in courteously despite the attitudes they got from the customers that came in. Amazing customer service and they got all the orders right!! “The Food Market never disappoints! We seem to always order all appetizers and share. The spicy, cheesy, herby, creamy, windy, garlicky shrimp and the fried oysters are must haves. The street cauliflower is another favorite and the crab jalapeño rangoons were a new and delicious discovery. Server was friendly and a nice Albariño was reasonably priced and the perfect addition. “Just want there to grab a quick lunch. Never tried the castfish before so ordered it and it was quite good. It comes with 2 fillets of catfish which are quite big in my opinion, 2 slices of toasted bread, fries and drink of your choice.The prices are also resonable.Had to go there the following day for another lunch. You only need to wait for 5 to 10 depending on what your order is. One thing, the shop is inside the gas station, so there aren't any table. You can wait for your order either 'inside the store or in your car. If you like fish, you should try this shop. Recommended it.“
“One of my favorite places to go if I'm in a hurry & want something quick. This one is located in the shopping center on Washington blvd. Which means usually you have parking but certain times of the day it can be a headache. But the service is always excellent when I come. Plus it's always multiple people working back there unlike most of the food places in the area so it provides for much better service. Today I was treated to a special surprise as I was ordering my food the gentleman preparing my sandwich shared some of his dad jokes wit me (djm I love corny things like this). I just finished what I call a classic bacon cheeseburger - American cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard - and I must say it was fantastic! I think this was the best cheeseburger I've ever had! I also got a side of the hand cut fries that we also awesome as well. It was rather stacked having double patties. I'd normally never eat all that in one sitting, but it was so good I actually ate everything in one go! I ate the evidence.)Parking: There are many options for parking in this neighborhood. This particular side of the block on St Paul and (I think) fronting the restaurant entrance on 31st is metered. But the opposite side diagonally across from the entrace, the block behind it, and most of the surrounding blocks are residential permit zones where you can park for free for up to 2 hours if you are lucky enough to find a space. Just keep your eyes open for signs to clue you in on if you're scoping out a metered or permitted parking spot. If you're totally out of luck on finding a street spot, I think there is garage parking a couple of blocks up the street, but haven't used it myself before. Google will surely show any garages in the area.Parking in the evening at this location is easy. I was able to park right in front of their entrance and was in and out in less than a minute. I didn't pay a meter.During the day it may be a bit more challenging to find a space that close, but there is parking all around.I'm not sure how late they run, but whatever you do, it's worth it to pay the parking meters - at least during the day - to avoid getting an annoying parking ticket. This block is essentially part of the Johns Hopkins campus, so the "meter guard" is every active. The machines take coins, cards or pre-purchased passes.“

I'm glad they were busy because the staff appears hard working and the food here is very good. The cheesesteak roll was soft and chewy, and the oils and grease did not seep through. I got onions and provolone and as you can see from the photos, the sandwich was hot and fresh, with a nice stretch from the cheese. The fries had a nice color, crispy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. This meal hit the spot. There is plenty of seating inside CSM.
