“One of the cleanest McDonald’s restaurants in Montgomery County Maryland. Tucked away in the heart of the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve, the service is excellent, the facilities are sanitary and the food service workers are definitely fast with the food. You have to visit this restaurant to understand what I am talking about. The price is definitely right but don’t forget to get some exercise.

Debbie, the owner (and now part-time head-bopper), greeted us like we were long-lost cousins showing up late to the family BBQ. When I told her it was our first visit, she gave me a playful bop on the head with our table number and asked, “What took you so long?” Touché, Debbie. Touché. Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). And yes… in a moment of grilled beef-fueled euphoria, I may have proclaimed myself the Burger King. Debbie gave me a look. I instantly realized my mistake. This isn’t that kind of burger joint. This is a burger experience. Saying "Burger King" here is like bringing boxed wine to a French vineyard. Long story short — go to MELT. Go now. Go often. “I love Five Guys (I've worked at 3 of them) but the Ashburn VA location usually leaves me somewhat disappointed. In this instance I'm pretty sure there was sugar on the fries, not salt. and when I called to suggest checking the salt shaker, the response was disappointing. 😞“

The staff were also very polite and welcoming. A special shout-out to the young staff member with glasses (looked Asian) — he was especially attentive and kind.

“I've been going to Five Guys since the Murells opened Number 1 in South Arlington in the 80's. I was friends with two of the brothers, and my brother was a member of the first crew at that store. This franchise keeps true to the atmosphere and food, and I've been coming here for years. Which ever bakery they are using makes rolls that taste and feel closest to the original Brenners recipe. Oddly, I went last night and the only sodas they had in the dispenser were the Zero types. Strange.“

“I have been coming to this location for over a year and I have always had friendly service and hot fresh food. Fries like they came out of the frier every time. Well spoken English. It does take a few minutes in the drive though but that’s because they give you fresh food each time instead my opinion. At rush times it will get busy everywhere. I have never waited more than 5 minutes with cars ahead of me. Slow down a little people and enjoy hot fresh food for once.“

“This Burger King is one of the better locations for food, service, and atmosphere. It's located off of Route 7 and situated near Taco Bell and Mission BBQ. The staff is polite and friendly, and they make an effort to get your food out right away. It's one of the only ones where you can ask for accommodations and in most instances it is done without problem. At times when it gets busy, it can be disappointing, but I've never encountered an issue during those times. The food is cooked at the right temperature, and the fires are not overly salted, which I find comforting. On my visit, I purchased a large order to dine in, and I wasn't pressed for tasting my food quickly because it was quiet. It's the one of few places I feel condition dining in.“

My friend (of 65 years) and I met in Sterling and went to IHOP for breakfast.

Eduardo was our waiter. He was so nice, so pleasant and so terrific!

He patiently waited for us to make our selections. He explained some of the selections that we had questions about. We both got French Toast. The French Toast was excellent and thick slices of toast - so good - thank you cook! He brought our meals quickly and checked on us frequently.

Eduardo was so appreciative (and it showed on his face) when we asked if we could give his manager a compliment on his services.
