“there are always so many things we like that were great.
the first thing is that the food was great (perfect shake shack food).
- it was made quickly and accurately
- it was consistent with every other order we've ever had
- the manager and staff were exceptional, and made us feel like they they really cared, which they absolutely did as reflected in the quality of the order we received. GREAT TEAM!
- I'd forgotten pickles, which I failed to include in my order, and was given plenty!
- I did not feel like I ate a brick 5 minutes after I ate (also a consistent outcome, every visit)
- it was a VERY easy way to share my favorite burger with my family, who had never tried shake shack, and they ALL loved their burgers and dogs.
- I liked how easy it was to order this online, VERY simple, no confusion!
- this was a great solution to the difficult problem of getting a house bound elder, as well as a wheel chair bound OTHER elder the best possible cookout possible as actually BBQing is NOT an option, our Fourth of July party was a smashing success.

things we didn't like:
- nothing, everything was perfect.

This was large order, and was delivered in large boxes, and was very impressive to open infant of everyone, VERY cool!

- we've NEVER had a poor shake shack experience, the managers ALWAYS greet us, and the staff is SO focused on excellence.“

“Great burgers. Salted peanuts in the shell are a nice treat. They know how to cook beach fries the right way (2 baths). Price is a factor, but the food is well executed. Potomac location has a few nice outdoor tables.“

“Food is what you expect from McDonald’s. I’m not giving McDonald’s food in general five stars but the level at which the staff here produces food so neatly and quickly is impressive. I have yet to get soggy fries or a messy sandwich or wrong order from this location.

Parking here generally sucks but I have my own solution that I won’t share hah. But do keep that in mind.“

The Prez Obama burger (I think now known as the Prez Burger) with house fries (rosemary and all things delicious) with a toasted marshmallow shake (or cherry blossom if it's in season) is to DIE for. Also Spike's Sunnyside burger is delicious. Highly highly recommend for tourists looking for a dope local find.“

“I rarely post but I have to recognize the outstanding team here. This location is immaculate. The staff are constantly cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing food with care. It's the only fast food place where I have peace of mind to eat because of their attention to detail and self-motivated staff.“

“Five stars for the food—my wife and I went for brunch and it was absolutely phenomenal! I had the biscuits with crawfish gravy (not very photogenic, but they were sooo good), and my wife ordered the broccolini & grits. We also shared the breakfast potatoes, which were excellent. Every dish was well-prepared and delicious.

The cocktails, however, were more of a mixed experience. We’d rate them 3.5/5. My $16 Bloody Mary was okay, but nothing exceptional, and my wife’s espresso martini-ish drink was on the same level. They serve cocktails from a little bar cart, bringing your drink in a carafe with an ice bucket for you to pour yourself. While I understand why they see that it could be kind of fun, we didn’t feel it added much and would’ve preferred the drinks were served already put together or that they mix it at the table rather than have all the random glassware left on the table.

The ambiance gets a solid 4.5/5. It was bright, fresh, and inviting—perfect for brunch.

The strawberry shake was creamy with a nice fresh flavor, and the root beer float had that perfect balance of bubbly and sweet. “Okay, one gripe: I asked for a burger with ketchup, and never mentioned pickles. When I got the burger, it had pickles and no ketchup. Not a big deal, I took the pickles off and put some ketchup on it. It was a great burger, as usual. They just need to pay a little more attention. I still put a couple bucks in the tip jar because people have kids to feed.

That being said, great burger, great fries (and still a generous portion), and lots of Diet Coke.

I have a lot of dietary restrictions and there was a much larger variety of options to choose from in the store than I'm used to. Since this review is specifically for the burger bar I will say I did enjoy the vegan burger and the fries.“
