“We wandered here after a lazy day hanging out with friends. It's a small pizza spot my husband frequented in Bethesda when he use to live here. The menu is small which can be good and bad. For me it helped narrow down the choices. My pizza had sajook sausage and hot honey. It was sweet, meaty, and very cheesy Yumm! My husband got a play on traditional Turkish pizza which has basically ground meat on bread. Also very yummy. Come stop by! It gooooood!“

“Omg, District Falafel - what a real treat! As a Palestinian, I rarely eat at ME restaurants cause it's easier, less disappointing and always better to just go to mom's! My sister/friend introduced me to this place and I enjoyed it so much that I will even tackle the beltway to go into Bethesda from VA! The manager (M'hammad)/counter/table (Edwin?) staff were extremely nice, friendly, patient and just really kind! Pricing was quite reasonable & the same regardless of lunch/dinner - a real bonus. Easy parking, casual and just the right size inside. We had an amazing set of beautifully presented dishes before us incl: Adas soup (thinner than I'm used to, but SUPER delicious!), the falafel was so fantastic that I took a few dozen home to share w/family (will definitely try the spicier ones on next visit!), chicken shawarma & kifteh were nicely flavored & tender, and all the side dishes, hummus, baba ghannouj, salads, pickled items, pita bread hit the mark. Thank you for everything - Can't wait to come back!“

“The location in DC has better food quality.I tried the beef Koobedah and it is good. However the lamb and chicken kabobs were very dry and tough. I definitely had better at other kabob places. I hope they improve the quality of the kabobs. For now, I would consider other places for tender and well seasoned proteins.“

“Loved Joon for Brunch. We will be back! Great food selection (we did a la carte) and our server Elijah was awesome. All of the dishes were well-balanced. It was lively by the number of active tables yet auditorily quiet around 1PM which was pleasant.Parking: The garage is free and easy on the weekends. Otherwise, park near the end of the Patsy's parking lot towards Tiffany's. Parking for this plaza in general can be an adventure to find your first time.“

“It was just okay to me. My kids loved it. They liked the chickpeas and bread. I thought the portion size was reasonable. The chicken kabob was probably the best. The beef and lamb were a bit dry. There is no luxury here for dining. You are just eating in a small place with enough space for about 20 people max. It was decently clean. I would eat lunch here again. It’s not a date night though.“

“Delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced food in Ballston is a rare treasure. The platters can easily feed two people and are protein-packed no matter which option you choose. The naan and chickpeas are especially wonderful. We'll absolutely be coming back again!!“

“Mobys is a great place to grab a meal. Really good kabobs. The joojeh (chicken) sandwich is great but the gyro is fantastic. The absolute best item and must have is the hummus. After eating the Mobys hummus, I can’t buy it at the grocery stores anymore. Seriously, get the hummus and some extra bread.Parking: You can park in two separate garages or two separate parking lots for free.“

“An exceptional caterer of Persian food for your big events! Mr Behrooz himself is a joy to work with, professional, accommodative and dependable. What he promises, he delivers.. and MORE. We had his full buffet menu for our wedding and couldn’t be happier— everything was delicious and plenty. Highly recommend them!“

“My second time here. I live 1.5 hours away but try to eat here when I visit my brother in Reston. Excellent food, generous servings. The bread is so good, fresh with a good chew. Four of us shared 3 platters: chicken, gyro and salmon and still had enough to take home for one more person. Perfectly cooked and flavorful with a side salad, chickpeas ( great for dipping bread into the sauce) brown and white rice. The place is clean, service is friendly.“

“I’ve tried almost all of their menu items and they are all delicious. Quality and freshness of their ingredients are noticeable and hands down best burger and fries in the area. As a Persian myself, Maman Joon is delivering true persian flavors. Love their new breakfast menu and you have to try the Egg Benedict it’s soo good(Lovin it ????).“

“Been dining at Bacchus for decades and can't think of a bad thing to say. Occasionally service is slow but you could regard that instead as Middle Eastern "Leisurely" and enjoy your companions' sparkling conversation. They do eggplant several ways, all good. Don't miss the Bacchus eggplant dip. My DH thought he hated eggplant with a passion till he tried it - now he can't get enough! I'm a pescatarian and love small plates as I'm also ADD - this place is perfect for that. My family adore the shish taouk. And unlike many Mideast restaurants, you're not confined to Middle Eastern desserts - they've got a grand chocolate lava cake on the menu if baklava or knafeh aren't your thing. It's usually not noisy and the outdoor terrace is a grand place to sit on a fine afternoon or early evening once DST kicks in (like, now!). My only complaint is lunch ends at 2 and they're closed till 5, so if you want lunch, get there by 12;30. We once showed up at 1 pm and felt rushed by the staff. There, I found something to complain about! Thanks, Bacchus, for many great meals in pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. PS Fabulous ladies' room with mirrors that turn you into 100 images of yourself from every angle. :-)“

“Food was delicious! I got the falafel platter and hummus and it was so good. The hummus was my favorite! It's all run by one man and he made everything fresh for me. We had pleasant conversation while I ate there. He is a very nice man and I will happily go again to try the kabobs!Vegetarian options: The falafel platter comes with a good portion of rice and salad as well as some bread. I ordered it with the hummus and it was a wonderful vegetarian meal!!!“

“Came in ordered a pizza and got it pretty fast. Freshly baked once you order (not just ready baked pizza sitting behind glass screen). And absolutely DELICIOUS. I dont leave reviews too often but that pizza was just so perfect. Craving a good cheesy fresh pizza (toppings all tasted fresh too, the meat and the veggies I chose), this is the place! :)“

“Our guests and family were deliciously thrilled with LT's Lebanese Easter Family Meal from the time we ordered to reheating and eating! The dinners were generously sized, easy to serve, loved by all, and with plenty available for another meal for four, after eight full meals. Khalil at Tyson's made sure that the extras ordered from the take-out window were available to coincide with our catering order and even took care to make sure that my additional order of pumpkin kibbeh was handy for snacking during the drive home. The only possible way to have made our day any better is if we could have packaged the ambiance, customer service of the LT Tyson's restaurant and staff. Highly recommended for quality, service, value and overall experience!Vegetarian options: Many Vegetarian options are listed on the menu, but while items are labeled Gluten Free and Halal, these items aren't specially marked.Dietary restrictions: The menu is labeled and staff are very knowledgeable about food allergies and various dietary restrictions. Catering to a family with many of these (Gluten-free, egg and dairy allergies) was easy to accomplish with confidence.“

“Located inside an old strip mall with other markets from around the world, this woman-owned Persian market is a one-stop shop for Middle Eastern produce and goods. Park in the lot just outside and enter into a world of spice. In the back is a counter that sells popular kabobs and other grab-n-go items.“

“My wife had the filet mignon kebab and I had rack of lamb, medium rare. Succulent and delicious. We had salads which were very fresh and delicious. Also sides of grape leaves, so fresh and just the right level of oil and mint, and Kash bademjahn, so so good. I can not recommend this place highly enough!!! Sorry Mobey's, this is our new goto place!!! The staff is so friendly and charming :)“

“Seated quickly at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. Menus brought and ice water. We ordered and they brought warm fresh pita bread and Israeli salads to share. I ordered a rib eye medium done and it came out well done. Had to return it and when the new one came out it was rare. No happy medium. Green beans were delicious. Wife ordered Jerusalem mix with rice which was good. Service was slow, took a long time to get refills on water and more salads! Asked for a to go box and waitress never brought it, I went to the kitchen to ask for one. Food is good but slow service!“

“We placed an order to pick up, and it was ready at the promised time. The koobideh and joojeh kebob were properly seasoned and prepared. The rice was long grain, aldante, and flavourful. The bread was warm and fresh.Prices are reasonable, and portions are large.“

“Marjan catered my engagement party and it was perfect. The food was delicious while being almost too pretty to eat, given the works of art she creates with her thoughtful garnish design. Nonetheless, it was all gone by the end of the night! ? Highly recommend Marjan for a unique and impressive event experience!“

“This location is inferior to Germantown halal guys. Germantown is always fresh and taste better overall.4 stars for 4 reasons1. Good beef and rice is done just right.2. Price! Is really good for what you get!3. A lot of food for what you pay.4. Fast serviceMinus 1 star because the chicken just doesn’t taste all that good. Maybe it’s left out for longtime because due to lack of customers, but I could be wrong.“

“The food and service at this place is always awesome. Especially the gentleman who runs the front of the house. His name is Marvin, and he's the nicest guy you could ever meet. If you want good food, pretty quickly, and like people in general, this is a great place to get it. I've become a regular customer and I love this place.“
