“This is a casual no-frills restaurant where hungry diners can order traditional Jamaican j*** and curried dishes from the counter. As such, the food is probably cooked earlier and refilled during the day. Despite ordering at dinner time, we found the quality to be fresh. I ordered a curried goat value meal that came with two sides (rice and beans, and cabbage with mixed vegetable) and they do give a lot (approx $22). My daughter also enjoyed her jerked chicken wing value meal. The taste is so unique and we really enjoyed the aroma of the food. Although there is some seating on premises, we got carryout and ample parking in front is available.“

“Outstanding food and great customer service. The food here is of Sierra Leone, Caribbean, Trinidadian fare. The oxtail and curry goat are my favorite dishes here. The food is always well seasoned, the meat or tender, and most importantly—the flavor is on point. Although a bit pricey, the portions are huge and more than enough for two people. Caution to those that are not fans of spicy food. The food here can go from mild to spicy for some people’s pallet, but for me, it is A+OK! I am a fan, and recommend this place!“

“The food is absolutely delicious!!!! I’ve been there two times , the service is awesome. I ordered the escovitch snapper both times , exceptionally good, curry goat was scrumptious. The owner gave me a sample of chick peas, and bread, called doubles, also a sample of oxtail. I will definitely be back“

“One night I wanted jerk chicken. I've been here before, and thought to revisit. Was not paying attention to the time, I walked up to the window with less than five minutes til closing. I turned to walk away and the lady stopped me and took my order. I ordered jerk chicken, cabbage and rice and peas. The food was hot!!! Never a disappointment!!! “I've eaten here a couple of times now, and I highly recommend it. I actually didn't go there with particularly high expectations, but I was so pleasantly surprised. They have several vegan dishes and everything I tried was delicious. While the ambiance is a bit underwhelming, it is honestly so nice to eat someplace where no one has to shout to be heard. I can't wait to go back again.“
