The passion fruit mimosa was a bit too tart & sour for my liking. However that's likely my own fault for ordering a sour drink.

If I had to critique the place it would be they need a 2nd barista, or a cheap intercom system. The tiny place only holds 6 people (and a dog!) and 5 of those are standing around waiting for their coffee.“

“This is a very cool place. I just went so my kid could check out the rated chess tournament (blitz G3+2) that happens every Monday night. Charles Village Chess hosts the Monday blitz and G20 quads Friday elsewhere, I believe. There was not only chess , but Mah Jong being played, good beer, live music outside, a room with like 30 operating pinball machines, another room full of vintage video games. Nice artsy, laid back vibe. Diverse crowd of friendly people. They only serve drinks, and a tiny bit of merch, so BYO outside food ok. All the brewery tanks and pipes visible...and this was on a Monday night. I wonder how Fridays are. I'm a fan. My son had fun playing chess...and reported the players were strong, which he appreciated . I had a beer while I waited for him to compete. We'll be back.“

“Our first visit to Café Los Sueños was truly memorable. After reading the café’s glowing reviews, my husband and I decided to visit as a way to unplug from technology, relax, and enjoy our favorite books; and we couldn’t have made a better choice.

From the moment we walked in, Carlos, the owner, greeted us with such warmth and kindness. We had a friendly conversation with him both at the beginning and throughout our time there, which added such a personal touch to the experience. We ordered a Horchata latte with oat milk and an Ethiopian coffee and both were absolutely delicious.

But what truly stood out was the atmosphere that Carlos and his wife have created. It’s more than just a coffee shop… it’s a beautiful little community. Almost everyone who walked in seemed to know Carlos, and there were heartfelt, lively conversations happening all around. It felt like a safe space to share and connect; a rare and precious thing in today’s fast-paced world.

We will absolutely be returning to Café Los Sueños to disconnect and recharge. And if you visit, be sure to ask Carlos about the story behind the T-shirt framed on the wall. ;)

“We live right around the corner and drive past this place constantly. We've lived in Parkville for five years and came here for a Bluey brunch sometime last summer with our toddler. We decided to try the actual restaurant part tonight for dinner. The food was outstanding and our waiter was attentive and very friendly. Very lively, festive atmosphere, but my one complaint is, MAN, was it loud in there. My daughter spent the first 10 minutes after we got there holding her ears because it was so noisy. But I guess that's to be expected from one of the most popular local restaurants in town. Will most definitely be back!“

She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. The man was spot on it was absolutely amazing how every was seasoned and grilled to beyond perfection. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Chesapeake it was an absolute hit.I don’t know which one was better but I’d love to have a serving of either one again anytime. “We have gone to Iggies many times and always were treated with such hospitality. We live in the area and know this is THE place to go. We even ended up asking if they could host our dress rehearsal dinner. Mehmet graciously worked with us and put together a wonderful event. All our guests were amazed by how good the pizza and food were. There are so many different options of pizzas and guests left so full because they wanted to try each one! We are most especially thankful for Mehmet and his whole family making us feel so welcomed.
