“I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant in the area for so long. I’ve tried the majority of the ones in the area and always leave disappointed. I actually loved the food here. I got the general Tsos chicken and I loved it. Just the taste was great. I got my husband the shrimp and chicken lo mein and he loved it. The boneless spare ribs were good also and the wontons did not disappoint.

I will definitely be back on those cheat days where I don’t feel like cooking!“

“Delicious sushi, sesame chicken and ribs. Everybody loved their meal. However, the greatest joy was the music Saturday night... lots of classic rock and acoustic folk. There was no advertisement for the music, but it's worth checking if it is happening before you go. Typical Chinese restaurant setting, lots of regulars, and popular among the locals“

“Stopped in for some hot and sour soup. It's one of the best I've had. Never get the cup, always get the bowl. They say it serves 4 but if your hungry, it serves one to two. If it's an appetizer, then four for sure, maybe five. Brought home some meals to go for the kids.“

“I ordered lo mien and won ton soup and I would say they both have a different taste than what I’m used to. It’s not as mid as mall Asian food, as the noodles are actually normal size. Lots of scallions in the soup, which I like! But the won ton dough itself was hard, not soft at all.“

However, in my recent takeout order i disappointed to find the noodles supplied with the soup had changed from the wide, crispy, tasty fried strips to these rough textured thin and hard fried strips. i always enjoyed them in my soup but this time they went in the garbage.“

The menu is still standard American-Chinese food but overall a fantastic improvement for when you get a hankering for orange chicken on a Friday night.Update October 2021: ordered Kung Pao chicken and it was just as delicious as the orange chicken!“

“The wings were perfect and the fries were so crispy. Tasted like it was cooked in fresh oil and they let me get my own hit mustard, duck sauce, hot sauce and ketchup that's very rare. I ordered on my lunch and picked it up in less than 10 mins. Wasn't able to eat my egg rolls but they were still crispy when I got them home. I will definitely return to this location again. It's hard to find a good wing spot and I think I found mine.“

“Singapore Mai Fun and Eggdrop soup are still the best I've had. My relative tried Broccoli Chicken on one occasion and Shrimp Lo Mein the next time. He said both tasted good.
They are still take out only (call in and pick up 15 to 20 minutes)“

Never have I had such quality & quantity as I have gotten like Ho Wok. “I used to go to another Chinese place in AAC for over 30 years. I moved so I couldn’t get delivery. I took a chance on the place and wow. It’s my new favorite spot. Absolutely love it. My fav is miso soup and lo mein. I just tried the DaBomb roll and was pleasantly surprised! It was an amazing and the price and portions were great! I will be eating here from now on.“

“We tried the shrimp lo main which had small shrimp sprinkled throughout. The noodles were soft and moist.
The pork fried rice had plenty of diced pork and tasty.
The pork with snow peas had plenty of sauce, and pork slices and tender bright green snow peas.“

Ask for hot/duck sauce if you need it because they only throw in soy by default; wings were a little overcooked.“

My daughter had the pork bulgogi and it was full of flavor with a nice hint of spiciness. The LA Kalbi was tender and flavorful. The portions were generous and it felt like I got my monies worth. “People are confusing the new CHINA WOK in Annapolis Mall's food court with the same named take-out place in Eastport Shopping Center (the address at the top of this page). THEY'RE NOT THE SAME!!! The one in the mall is terrible, but the one in Eastport is excellent. I don't believe they are connected in any way, just have the same name.“

But I think it's because I always order the same thing, the Singapore Chicken and it's always delicious and tasty. I remember now sampling the Bourbon Chicken or Orange Chicken they were pretty bland as some of the reviews have said. But the Singapore Chicken, the Steak and buttered Shrimp are all good and usually spot on.“
