Our meal started with the Chefs Selection Board, then the special of the day Mushroom Soup, my Husband had the Cast Iron Skirt Steak (flavor was Delish) I had the Chicory Salad with Bacon Bits (minus the pecan nuts) for Dessert I had the FIG & BRIOCHE BREAD PUDDING (heaven in a plate) with the yummy Coffee.“

“This was my second time dining at The Lodge and the food was fantastic both times. I love the comfy booths and the quiet atmosphere there. Everyone from the host to the waiters are very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that the waiters are very pushy about trying to get you to order extra things that you do not want. First I was offered 2 different kinds of water in fancy bottles, regular and sparking, which I'm sure were more expensive than the tap water that I requested. It was presented not as an option, but "which one do you choose?" I didn't fall for that one. Then we were told about a special drink that was available - no thanks. Next was a special crab appetizer that was described to us and then we were asked if we were "sold on it?" We were not interested. Then a wine was recommended before we even ordered. My friend already knew what kind of wine she planned to order and I don't drink! And then when we finished our meal our waiter told us that we could get some ribs to take home with us at a special price! He just would not give up trying to sell us extra food to try and make the bill higher! We didn't appreciate it and it put a damper on our dining experience! The food there is excellent, however it is very pricey. We love the ambiance there and the food, however the pushy wait staff has made us think twice about returning!“

“I was there yesterday with my bestie after seeing her latest exhibit; just two older women who create. Lo a behold we found Nirvana. Perfect salads (amazingly fresh)., the best crab dip ever, with both baguette and sliced cukes to accommodate by wheat allergic friend. all followed by a terrific cappuccino and exquisite cheese cake. Such a cosy cafe atmosphere - the kind of place where you feel instantly at home yet with a dash of euro sophistication. Our server was totally, utterly lovely; friendly not overbearing, and super professional. In short - my new happy place!“

“Level is our favorite spot in Annapolis! It’s perfect for a romantic date night or for a casual dinner, you can truly dress up or down and fit in here. The food is always amazing, even our family (who can be tough critics) were very happy with their food choices. The menu rotates a little seasonally and it’s always fun to try the new items and revisit the permanent items. The cocktails are super creative and you can’t really go wrong with any of them! Some of our current favorites: Harvest Mule, Agave Please for drinks and for food… house fries, tuna poke, ribs, brussel sprouts, and the oysters! Crab Mac and cheese is a must if it’s on the menu! Oh and don’t forget to leave room for dessert, we love all the choices but banana bread pudding is our favorite! 11/10 love coming here.“

“Everything about this place was great. Erin, the bartender was very personable and knowledgable about all aspects of the F and B service. Her attention to detail was inspiring. Her connection with her guests made each of us feel as though we were the only ones there. Rashaan , the Chef made some incredible good. It was clean and satisfying. “I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“

I had the rosemary fries, and the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, and it was SO delicious!! But since I am a chef and I’ve worked in several restaurants, the difference between how something is cooked one day can be a difference between who’s working that day. They do make some of the best pizzas around! They have a bar, game nights, special pizza nights, buy one get one on Tuesday and even Social nights where you can cook things in the kitchen. What I recommend about Neo Pizza? Everything! It’s a good restaurant, not too overpriced. A great place to hang, socialize, have a beer and enjoy good times with friends or family.“

I haven't tried everything because I got hooked on a few of the menu items. I love the Fish & Chips - perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender flakiness on the inside. The Caesar Salad and Fried Chicken Salad are delish. And their burger is exactly what you want when you get the craving. The portions are generous and the prices are just right.

Best of all, the owner and staff set a special, welcoming atmosphere. This carries over to the guests so you really experience a cheerful, happy vibe. It feels like going to a party. It explains why they have such a strong repeat audience. I'm a fan!“

“This place was great! We stayed in the rooms above which were really comfortable and we dined in the restaurant for lunch and had breakfast there. Highly recommend! It was also neat that they do the Pledge of Allegiance daily! The staff was also very friendly. Again, highly recommend!“

“We chose Latitude 38 because it was right there on the docks and we timed it so we would be finished around the time of the July 4th fireworks. When we got there we were placed at a table toward the back but it was really warm back there and the fan above us was broken. Hayes was our server and he worked it out with a colleague to love us and remain our waiter. That was much appreciated right off the bat. Hayes continued to serve us well with good recommendations and friendly attitude. He refilled my soda even before I had to ask for another. The food was excellent. All 8 of us ordered something different and we all enjoyed our dishes. Apps were really good too. The ONLY downside was the dessert area downstairs was so busy that we could not order ice cream or any of their yummy sounding milkshakes. We had to go downstairs and stand in line and order like we were walking off the street. We were told we could bring it back upstairs and eat it at our table. But the line was crazy long so we paid our bill and walked around for a bit then got in the dessert line when it shortened right before the fireworks. After standing in line for 15-20 mins, we got to the counter and was told they were not making milkshakes that night. If we had known that before getting in line we would have skipped dessert. But because I put so much time in waiting, 3 of us ordered ice cream and it was good. But we were disappointed. But, regardless of the dessert fiasco, the dinner was great and Hayes was awesome.“
