Just stopped in for lunch with my boys. The chicken cheese steak was on point. my youngest is picky with his Mac n cheese him and his brother devoured it. Great local spot for food.
We love Benders, it’s such great atmosphere. The staff is always so kind and attentive, and the food hits the spot just right every time. I typically enjoy the wings , and the kids usually do the kid-cliche tenders and fries, which are really good here. The Reuben is a great option as well.

This is the greatest Tavern in Washington County, maybe even the entire state! You will not be disappointed by your visit to this great and historic place. Wether you’re on the C&O trail and need a reliable stop for lunch or if you just want to unwind in the late evening after a long day, this place should be your go-to! The Captain(owner) is very knowledgeable, the bartenders/cooks are friendly and love to serve, and the atmosphere is welcoming. 11/10 easy
