“What a wonderful surprise. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the breakfast tacos with steak and the birria tacos. The meat was so tender and juicy and seasoned to perfection. The lemonade was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. The atmosphere made me feel as if I was in a taqueria across the border and the service was phenomenal as well.“

The Happy Hour, which starts at 1PM (yes, you read that correctly) has insanely low prices, and the "pour" on both glasses of wine and cocktails are unmatched. I had the quesadilla, and my friend got the California burrito—which comes loaded with fries inside and was honestly really good and filling. One thing I really appreciated was that they offer non-alcoholic slushies. I tried the guava one and it was so good, super refreshing and definitely a standout. I was a little surprised they don’t offer tacos, but the menu still has great options that hit the spot. The food, staff, and overall vibe were all on point—friendly service and a chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer than planned. Only heads-up is parking can be a bit tricky on busier days, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great spot I’d definitely come back to.“

“My husband and I decided to stay here overnight during our drive home from a beach vacation. I am covered in mosquito bites and am just miserable. I couldn’t wait to take a shower. Well let me tell you, I have NEVER taken a shower as good as the shower I just took in this hotel. It scratched every mosquito bite on my body simultaneously and felt so amazing. The provided toiletries smell like I just stepped out of a spa. The towel was fluffy but not linty. The water pressure was immaculate. The temperature was consistent and easy to set to the perfect amount of hotness. And my skin doesn’t feel like it’s been stripped of all of its moisture like it does after a shower at most hotels. I will only stay at this chain from now on if they’re all like this. I need to know how to get this at home. I’m serious. Best shower of my life.“

“Lunch with small group on a quiet winter weekday no one else in the place. My steakhouse burger was nicely cooked but non-memberable. The place did provide me with the option for a side salad instead of fries, which was made with fresh greens and very tasty. My friend was able to get her burger on gluten-free bread, and they nicely put her accompanying fries on a separate plate for the rest of us to nosh on.“
