5 Best Craft Breweries near Street

Falling Branch Brewery Brewery • $$
825 Highland Rd, Street

“We reserved the back area of the main tap room for my dad’s surprise birthday party. It was a blast and Falling Branch was the best place to throw it. The staff was friendly and very helpful, plus their selection of beer and ciders for the non beer drinkers was great! 10/10 recommend throwing a party here or just visiting for the day. One of my favorite breweries to go to!“

Double Groove Brewing Company Brewery •
1659 Robin Cir Suite D, Forest Hill - 7.02 miles

“Nice place with Live music on the weekend. Dog and kid friendly. Ordered 2 flights of beer and I liked all of them except for one. My favorite was a strawberry beer that reminded me of the old Pete's Wicked Strawberry Ale. Very busy and staff is friendly. The line is long but moved very quickly. Food is amazing, especially the pulled pork sandwich. Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again!“

“We went to Independent Brewing Company in the middle of a craft beer exchange “research” trip. We traveled all over the area and had to come back to get our case of beer.Young Mark in the Funkhouse made us feel welcome and like a local family member. Young Mark was great explaining the layout of the land, how the brewery worked, and what it was all about. This brewery has great staff, an entertaining and welcome atmosphere, and some amazing smelling food trucks (please note - we only had beer at this stop in our journey). We hope when we are back to visit that Young Mark will grace us with his prescience and guidance once again.Until next time - Independent Brewing - we wish you the best and can’t wait to come visit you again.“

South County Brewing Co.- Fawn Grove Brewery • $$
104 Mill St, Fawn Grove - 5.73 miles

“First time visiting, was in the area and my wife picked it from Yelp. The good - gorgeous facilities, broad selection of beers, decent menu variety. At the end of our meal we were definitely full... we had the chili, the brisket platter w a 1/2 chicken and the Mac n cheese. The so-so - the building was freezing, the waitress said it was because there were only one set of vents for heating and cooling and they were about 30' in the air... lots of people with their coats on. - The cornbread had an odd taste that my wife called "dish soap flavor". Asked the waitress if there was lavender or other strong ingredient but she had no idea and said there's a new pastry chef. - The menu says "1/2 chicken" but seriously, it could easily be confused for a quail... ( see photos ). That said, the smoke flavor on it was excellent.“
