We left fully satisfied, and I know I will be back again and again! I highly recommend the roasted beet salad, the churrasco, and the passion fruit cheesecake. My friends loved the pan con jamon, the bacon wrapped dates, and the arepitas. Really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was beautiful. I loved that we could hold a conversation without yelling across the table at each other. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff and the manager/owner, Ale, who took such wonderful care of us.“

“3-stars for service due to multiple requests for a finger bowl of warm water. When the requested was answered, it was presented in an aluminum bowl, plated, with a drying cloth ... but the water was cold!I agree with the reviews, $100 per person, we ordered tapas servings, no entrees. No dessert. Drinks ordered. Everything tasted wonderful. Over priced. You're paying for the location.“

We ate vegetarian and everything was excellent. I can recommend the brussel sprouts, tortilla española, crispy potatoes, coliflor, golden beets, fried shishitos, and risotto. I almost forgot to mention the interesting drink menu and the best flan I’ve ever had. Service was great too. Go with a group so you can try everything!“

“We had a great dining experience at this Spanish restaurant. The food was good, especially the paella, similar to the one we had in Spain. The drinks paired well with the food, and the place was well-lit with natural sunlight, making it inviting. The service was decent, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. However, the overall price felt a bit expensive for the portion sizes. Nonetheless, we were satisfied with our experience overall.Parking: Parking pass validation for discounted parking.“

“We walked into this unassuming neighborhood restaurant in Bethesda after seeing rather positive reviews, and walked out pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, flavorful, but not overwhelmingly seasoned. We loved most of our dishes especially the seafood saffron soup, sautéed shrimp with garlic, octopus, grilled squid, stuffed Portobello mushrooms. Lovely desserts got the flan con naranja and the chocolate mousse cake. Highly recommended.“

“A Mexican restaurant with some surprises. One of us got cajun jambalaya. Not Mexican. Not bad. I wasn't looking for a touch of New Orleans, but they nailed the sauce, with chicken and shrimp cooked just right. Our other dishes were traditional: shrimp fajitas and chicken fajitas. Again properly cooked and seasoned. Plenty of components to add into the tortilla wrapper. We finished with tres leches dessert. Moist and sweet as it was designed. Is 4 stars harsh? I based it on other Mexican restaurants that are on this level. For 5 stars, I needed them to be a cut above.“

“Behind the modest exterior, an immersive culinary journey awaits! Every foodie traveler enjoys 'the find' - a place you don't expect but allows you to join the curated journey of an exceptional chef and his team. Xiquet is one of DC's few true finds, tucked away in a small neighborhood but standing tall in the burgeoning DC dining scene. It is one of those rare places in an otherwise hypertensive town where time becomes ephemeral, and you can truly give in to enjoying artistry for its own sake and within its own parameters.Since Chef Danny changes his menu constantly, based on inspiration and availability of high quality ingredients, check their site for the latest, and definitely allow them to pair their wines, ports, vermouths, etc. to achieve 'peak flavour'.Our experience, a special occasion for my wife and me, was - to use one word - blissful! And equally importantly, relaxed - as visits to special places like Xiquet and its Michelin-starred siblings like Rose's Luxury, Jaunt and Inn at Little Washington should be.Make the time, take the time, and enjoy the journey!“

The food MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR THAT!! I went in craving tacos and I wasn't disappointed at all! They have "putacos" which is a glorious marriage of a pupusa and a taco, and they are heavenly!!!! “Walking down 18th Ave. I was about to pass Lauriol Plaza when the smell pulled me back. Checking the menu I found plenty of great vegetarian options! After seating, I was brought a bowl of phenomenal salsa and homemade tortilla chips, and I decided to order a tri-and true beverage, Mezcal Negroni, but they do not have all the ingredients. The tequila section is abound, there were a number of options. Come up with a delicious drink, including a large selection of margaritas! When looking at the menu, I was decided between a couple and the server strongly recommended the vegetable fajitas, saying the plate will be full of grilled veggies with a great assortment of toppings, and he was completely correct! I couldn’t even eat all of it because it was so much food and so delicious!I strongly recommend!!!“
