My daughter asked for mermaid decorations and Chef Tai put some chocolate into a mold and into the freezer on the fly. She also did bats and ghosts on request, it was so, so sweet. Kids (4 and 3) loved it, and super tasty, too! Will definitely be back!“

“My child has celiac disease and the woman working today with glasses took very good care of her. They were able to provide me with the allergy list and willing to get a clean scoop and ice cream from the back. I took off one star because the other person working was super rude to multiple customers. We had her initially, but after handing us the allergy sheet we got moved over to the other woman (thankfully). This person was acting like the customers were straight up idiots. Telling them, in a nasty tone, where the line started when honestly there was no clear line at all. They were either having a bad day or really shouldn’t be at a job where they have to interact with other humans. Yes, I’m sure it can be frustrating, but you can nicely say the line actually starts over here.“

Enjoyed everything — the dulce de leche in the chajá was so rich, and I surprisingly enjoyed the nutella in the red velvet cake — but the key lime pie was a standout. Usually I find that places make key lime pie too sweet for my taste and this one does NOT have that problem 😂 Would definitely order from here again!“

“The Bakers Lounge delivered masterfully for my wife's birthday! She loves cake and only eats it on special occasions, and I was anxious to try a new bakery for our visit to DC this past weekend. They decorated the raspberry truffle cake in a vintage style per my request - totally nailed it - and delivered it to our hotel for when we arrived. The cake was scrumptious and beautiful! John was really helpful and walked us through the different menus and the self-ordering setup. I liked that you can order from multiple restaurants all in one place, which makes it perfect for indecisive groups or people who all want different things. One person can get a salad, another can get a burger, and someone else can grab pizza, all in the same order. We tried the lime salt and Royal Greens, and it was a great experience overall.“
