“Perfectly toasted and buttered bagel. The staff was friendly. The other patrons were very friendly as they could easily tell we were tourists. I like to go where the locals go when on vacation. I'd suggest calling ahead to reduce wait time if you're limited. Occasional special events like brunch or big sports events bring the community out and pack the place.“

This is one on those place you go to when you want to feel like you're eating home cooked food. I always go for the breakfast and it never disappoints. “Been going here since I was a senior in high school and now Iam in '60s!
They have wonderful homemade sauces and delicious cheese options. They also have frozen foods that you can take home and heat up.
Love their mortadella but they also have other cold cuts.
They make in my opinion the best pizza in town. You can order a whole pie with toppings of your choice or you can just drop in and grab a slice or two. Empanada, Spanish pie and subs are highly recommend.“

I ordered an egg and cheese scrambled on a croissant. Let me explain to you how good the sandwiches, it’s light and buttery it’s fluffy, The croissant is fresh. The egg is not salty. Overall, this will be my only place to visit for breakfast in the Alexandria Virginia area. It is actually the only breakfast place that I will visit anywhere, if I am in the DMV.

“I went to this deli just around the corner from my job, and overall, it was a decent experience. I got the grits, eggs, turkey bacon, and pancakes. The eggs and grits were absolutely immaculate, really well done! The turkey bacon was a little overcooked, and the pancakes were drenched in butter, so if you prefer them a bit lighter, just a heads up. The atmosphere is okay, though they could really use a makeover. That said, the service was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be returning. I’d give it a 4-star rating“
