I was in the area and, after reading reviews, decided to give it a shot for a late lunch.It's a nice, clean environment. Dated and a creaky floor, yes. Friendly service, yes.The food was okay, but it was a better value. We had the appetizer sampler (unremarkable), burger (pretty good!), and hamburger steak (whoa gravy!).Didn't break the bank. The service is hit or miss: wait staff often also tend bar, which can lead to delays--they would do well to institute some other system.
