“This has been our go to spot for over 10 years now in Hamden! Great for comfort, food or brunch and always a fun atmosphere. The service has gotten so much better over the years and everyone there is incredibly sweet and friendly. And even though prices have raised at most other places, this place still remains incredibly affordable.“

“Cannot thank Harmony Bakery enough! They were closed yesterday, but willing to open briefly to allow me to buy lunch for my wife. We were only in town for a day visiting a family member in the hospital. After hearing the story, the reaction was “say no more, what can we get for your wife?” The food was outstanding. “I've been here several times with friends, and every experience has been great! Not only is the customer service fantastic (very attentive, willing to check in on you, knowledgeable staff, etc), they have a nice variety of liquor and wines that are easy to find in the shop based on region. Additionally, they sell limes and lemons at the register which if you've ever had a few friends over for drinks, you tend to prioritize the alcohol and forget the limes/lemons. It's always a duh moment for me but because they have them right at the register, it's easy to remember. What I think I like most about The Wine Source is how honest staff are about their thoughts on different wines. If they don't like it, they'll tell you and have enough knowledge to even recommend something based on your tastes. Lot parking can be a little scarce sometimes but that's really out of their control and usually street parking is easy to find in the area. In short, would highly recommend! My friend (who's the wine guy for sure) loves it here and says it's one of the best wine spots in Baltimore to him. P.S. They also sell some food in the shop which I haven't tried yet but I'm sure it's good!“

“Crab cakes were delicious as always. Asparagus good too. Desserts were OK not super. Coffee not hot, and no refills were offered. We had to ask for standard condiments with meal( ketchup, cocktail , tartar) Waitress was rushed- threw our dessert forks on the table in one bunch and ran off. Checked with us a couple of times during meal(good), but seemed very rushed. It was busy. Service was ok, not great though, so when the four of us received the bill with the 20% gratuity added already for a “large party” ( 4 of us in a booth) we were surprised and not very pleased.“

“I loved the food here! The staff is kind and respectful. The ambiance has a Canadian aesthetic. The place is on the smaller side and parking is not the greatest and is located across the street from the Belvedere market next to the movie theatre.“

“August 24. Five of us came to enjoy lunch together. Very disappointed. My ultimate grilled cheese was not ‘ultimate’. Very little cheese, no tomato, and crab cake/meat was sub par. Another lady received the wrong lunch and then had to send back her lunch when the correct order was brought. Another lady had to send back her hot fudge sundae. We were told the hot fudge was made last week! It would have been nice if a manager had come to our table. Have been coming to Manor Tavern for decades and have never been so disappointed. Am coming again in September. Hope things are a bit better!“

“My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“

“I went to visit family and needed a place nearby that wasn't too expensive and chose the Embassy Suites. I've actually been to this place before but it's been easily 15-20 years since my last visit. The thing about Embassy Suites generally is that they're mostly the same - especially of the properties from the 80s era. Big, open central space and the rooms encircle it. The property is from that era and there are some things that show this in 2023 - like the old and slow elevators, but they've done a good job modernizing the place overall. Like my room. They gave me room 731 which is near the elevators closest to the lobby. Nice. The view overlooks an office park next door (there's not much to see in Hunt Valley). Imagine an 80s era room but modernized with marble counters and nicer fixtures with wifi, usb chargers and nice curtains and you've got 731. It was very pleasant and very comfortable. Since its a suite there's an outer room with seating and a kitchenette. I made use of the large screen tv to watch some movies and generally chill. Since it is an 80s-era bathroom, it's small. But they have modernized and it's perfectly fine. Shower was good with lots of pressure and everything worked. There is an indoor pool, but I did not use it. The breakfast is surprisingly good. Lots to choose from and the hot prepared food is pretty good also. No complaints. Staff was great. Welcoming, friendly, informative. Really, there's not much more I could ask for when on the road. I enjoyed my stay and would return again.“

“We loved our experience at Texas Roadhouse today. We arrived early, and there were plenty of seats available. However, the wonderful young lady at the front couldn’t find two booths aligned together to accommodate the ten of us. Thankfully, our server Kim kindly offered us an area that wasn’t supposed to be open at that time. She made my sister’s birthday lunch truly special! Kim consistently checked on us and managed our large table flawlessly without making a single mistake.

As for the food, it was a bit greasy and salty, but we didn’t mind. We only spent $150 (before tips and tax) and left with tons of leftovers.“

I ordered the dish I got in the past.....the Pad Thai w/Parmesean Crusted Chicken. The food was delicious, I literally did not have to add any seasonings or sauce (that says alot!). And thank Mr. Griffin for cooking the food! Thank you all for the wonderful service and great food.“
