“What an outstanding experience for my nephew's 18th birthday! This was our first time visiting Cu Vino. Our server, Alejandro, was very welcoming and attentive. He was charming and provided flawless, timely service. We enjoyed the Cozze Coperti, Calamari Capri, and Crocchette di Patate. All were fresh and flavorful. The outer coating of the Crochette di Patate had a notably perfect crunch and the garlicky wine sauce served with the Cozze Coperti was lovely. The Calamari Capri was tender with a crisp coating. For entrees, we enjoyed the Carbonara and a spare rib special with cherry tomatoes, served with gravy and layered with mashed potatoes. The special was herby and felt pleasantly light for a meat-and-potatoes dish. The Carbonara, however, was everyone's favorite of the evening. We were instantly obsessed. We took dessert to-go and have yet to try it, but the Zeppoli, Chocolate Chip Cannoli, and Tiramisu all look as though they will match the perfection of our earlier meal. “The Missus (bless 'er) and I had the opportunity to visit Cafe Campli recently- and we can't wait to return.
As we entered and sat down, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had returned to Italy and was in a small, but well-crafted local ristorante. At no point during our visit was I disabused of this feeling.
Our server was personable and professional- who could ask for more?
The room was spotlessly clean- as was the bathroom.
The food? Ah yes, the food:
We opened with the antipasto platter, which came with a selection of salume, proscuitto, honey, and cheeses. The crostini was lightly charred, which added a complimentary note to the flavors on the board. My only quibble would be that the cheeses weren't tempered, but that is easily overlooked.
The Missus (bless 'er) went for the 'Porchetta Camplese,' a slow roasted boneless pork shoulder drizzzled with an unusual but tasty parsley chimichuri. She said it was delicious and after a bite, I had to agree.
I myself went for the 'Agnello Arrosto,' another boneless shoulder cut. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and had that slight char we had met before on the crostini. Again, it was full of flavor and very tender. It did not get dusty sitting on my plate...
Together we shared an 'Insalata Mista' to have some extra greens on the table. The salad was lightly dressed (thank you) and the vinegrette was above average.
I could not resist the 'Affogato' for dessert: White chocolate gelato topped with a double shot of espresso.
I had a 'Stappi Sprita,' a non-alcoholic beverage (I was driving), but ordered a bottle of excellent 2022 Montepulciano D'Abruzzo from Colle Corviano for the Missus (bless 'er) to enjoy with dinner.
Every element of the experience was well above our expectations. Sicuramente ci torneremo!“

He comes to the table not only to greet you and to make sure everything is okay. He even takes the empty dishes off the table. He’s always helping out around the restaurant. Love this place!!!“

“Ordered off of their catering menu for my wife's birthday. I purchased the Margharita Seafood Special with shrimp, scallops and lump crabmeat in a rose' cream sauce and it was excellent! The homemade meatballs jad everybody raving and their sausage, onions and peppers in marinara sauce was also great. Thankfully we had some left overs that we are still enjoying. Lastly was their Greek salad, very fresh and loaded with feta cheese. I definitely recommend these folks for your next lunch or dinner or when you need an event catered. Call and ask for Saul and he and the staff there will take great care of you!!“

“I tried to leave a review and it won't post so I will try again. My family and I ate dinner inside on Friday night after seeing the trains. They were extremely busy but to our surprise the food didn't take very long and was just as good as always. Our server (also the manager I believe as she was helping the counter area, as well as getting change for the employees up there) is really why I wanted to write this review. Our son has special needs and wanted HER to pour his apple juice into his cup. Mind you the restaurant is packed and so was carry out, she poured his juice and kept coming around and filling it up a bit more for him throughout our meal. She was so busy but made us feel like the only customers there. She neatly boxed our pizza for us even though she was very busy and I told her she didn't have to do that for us. All in all was a great dinner, Amazing food and fantastic service. They do get very busy and you might wait a bit for a table but it is worth every second of the wait. You won't be disappointed. As far as carry out goes we were sitting right next to the carry out area and the line was across the mall and pizzas stacked on their oven. They were very busy but they seem to get through the line pretty fast so although you might have to wait a few mins to get to where you order the food is worth it. I would watch a man bring up bagged orders and then within a minute our server would check the bags hand certain ones to the people working carry out and yell a number I believe this was to get the people here already waiting their food right away. Seemed like they have a working system for this crazy time. So although the lines seem very long it wasn't bad at all. Our kids also loved the trains. Was the first year they are old enough to really enjoy them and enjoy them they did!“

“I order Eggplant Parmesan everywhere I go - expensive establishments, cheap places, and everywhere in between across the US. Pizza Blitz's Eggplant Parmesan is in my top 3! A delicious and generous portion along with garlic bread. And the service is very friendly and accommodating. Eat-in is nice, but definitely nothing special.

Vegetarian options: I don't eat meat in restaurants and I have no problem eating here.“
