“When Slim was alive and the front and back of the bar were connected, you could eat fried chicken cooked in black cast iron skillets; listen to Slim talk about gambling back in the day, and dance the night away.Alot has changed but what remains are good people enjoying Ravens Football, pulsating rythems, and beverage.A great example of the Baltimore neiborhood bar.“

“Our table was not ready though our server motioned us to sit down while an extra table was added. No apologies, just: sit down, like we were inconveniencing her! Her attitude was approaching on rude. Orders were taken without comment, just looks. Soups were spilled onto saucers,no apologies. Coffee was served twice without spoons, containers were brought while people were still eating, same with bill. Everything was rushed, without a smile or occasional: can I get you anything or is everything ok? And why as a fine restaurant are you serving salad dressing in cheap plastic containers???“

“We went to dinner here this evening with a large party of 10. While we enjoyed our food and our server was great our overall experience was not 🤦🏼♀️. I don’t know if we just had an evening of bad luck or what. First after sitting there a bit a VERY large picture fell off of the wall directly onto me and my 18 month old daughter, then there was a gnat in our drink, and my dad walked outside and a piece of shingle fell off and hit him in the head. Like, I seriously couldn’t make this up. 🤣 like I said food was good and so was our waiter but I feel like a little more could have been done after the picture situation. A cupcake and free drink didn’t really cut it. Had it just fallen on me I wouldn’t have been so upset but the fact that it fell on my daughter made my soul leave my body. We will give it another shot at some point and chock tonight up to the full moon or something just be careful where you sit your kiddos.“

“IND Luncheon class of "71. The food was excellent, and the service was very good. The ladies were all saying how good the food was! We did in March and coming back in April. I would recommend Bowman. I eat there every Monday in the bar. I am never disappointed.“

“It was my BFF and I first time there. We had Kim as our bartender and could not have had a better one. She was very attentive, served our food hot and prepared a pretty nice drink. The bartender that came in after her didn't even ask if we wanted anything else and I set for 30 minutes waiting for my BFF to finish her drinks. I made sure to ask Kim's schedule so we can get there earlier next time.“

“My go to spot when on jury duty. Stop in for a quick bite. Friendly and attentive staff. The pub was lively with live performance! Chili was delicious with nice touch of heat! Steamed shrimp were fresh, plump and seasoned with old bay, Bmore style! Ice cold Blue Moon off the tap! Nice treat my go to spot in Towson!😋“

“Went in for an order to go. Ordered the Fiesta lime chicken meal, mozzarella sticks for the appetizer and a Chicken Alfredo meal. I also ordered the tortillas with the spinach dip appetizer. Waited 25 minutes for food to find the order was missing the 2nd appetizer b/c the cashier said he needed to get his manager. So now I had to wait for the manager to get the cashier ...who he claimed was now in the kitchen packing orders. That was about 4 to 5 minutes then waited another 10 to 15 minutes for the 🙄 😑 😒 😳 2nd appetizer. And the Food was absolutely not fit for a paying long time parton. The Rice was under or over cooked. It was hard n the color was off. The tortillas was hard n had no flavor and the Broccoli from the Alfredo lite my home up with a smell I'll 😫 😕 never forget.
This was purchased 5/7. Today is 5/9. I won't be going back any time soon. And there was a stench like dirty carpet or mold. I'm really messed up behind $45.00 I could have went elsewhere 🙃“

“Nick the manager was the bartender today came in to the restaurant at 3:30pm I had a long day at work and he gave me the best service ever he made my drink to perfection ( Tito's and lemonade) and made me laugh as well! He made the atmosphere very welcoming! Nick was by far was the best and I will be returning to Applebees because he really made it very comfortable... I give Nick 10,0000 stars! Thanks“

“I was surprised the steak actually was a nice size and cooked perfectly how I asked but the Brussels sprouts was just a lil too sweet ,mash potatoes was amazing & the crabs was a good size but the flavor wasn’t flavoring it neeed real crab seasoning instead of just old bay“
