“Let me start by saying that I ordered online and had the WORSE experience with DoorDash's portion of the delivery. Door Dash's driver NEVER delivered my order. I reached out to Noodles and spoke with Jakia (who provides AMAZING customer service by the way) who informed me to reach out to DD because the driver picked it up and their system said it was delivered. DD pretty much told me it is not their fault because it wasn't through their site, BUT it was their driver. After numerous attempts at a resolution with DD and being rudely connected to different reps without notice... I called Noodles & Co. back and spoke with both Jakia and Kyla who rectified the situation EVEN though they were not responsible for the mishap. I definitely applaud the staff for handling that so well and being able to provide me with an option for replacement.“

“This has been our go to spot for over 10 years now in Hamden! Great for comfort, food or brunch and always a fun atmosphere. The service has gotten so much better over the years and everyone there is incredibly sweet and friendly. I love that they keep good staples on the menu, but are always trying to reinvent New dishes to complement the old standbys. And even though prices have raised at most other places, this place still remains incredibly affordable.“

“Cannot thank Harmony Bakery enough! They were closed yesterday, but willing to open briefly to allow me to buy lunch for my wife. We were only in town for a day visiting a family member in the hospital. After hearing the story, the reaction was “say no more, what can we get for your wife?” The food was outstanding. “Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. Going above and beyond, thank you Rusty Scupper staff, thank you so very much. You gave my parents an experience that is above and beyond "like something out of a movie" mom keeps saying!!!!“

“I've been here several times with friends, and every experience has been great! Not only is the customer service fantastic (very attentive, willing to check in on you, knowledgeable staff, etc), they have a nice variety of liquor and wines that are easy to find in the shop based on region. Additionally, they sell limes and lemons at the register which if you've ever had a few friends over for drinks, you tend to prioritize the alcohol and forget the limes/lemons. It's always a duh moment for me but because they have them right at the register, it's easy to remember. What I think I like most about The Wine Source is how honest staff are about their thoughts on different wines. If they don't like it, they'll tell you and have enough knowledge to even recommend something based on your tastes. Lot parking can be a little scarce sometimes but that's really out of their control and usually street parking is easy to find in the area. In short, would highly recommend! My friend (who's the wine guy for sure) loves it here and says it's one of the best wine spots in Baltimore to him. P.S. They also sell some food in the shop which I haven't tried yet but I'm sure it's good!“

“I loved the food here! The staff is kind and respectful. The ambiance has a Canadian aesthetic. The place is on the smaller side and parking is not the greatest and is located across the street from the Belvedere market next to the movie theatre.“

“Crab cakes were delicious as always. Asparagus good too. Desserts were OK not super. Coffee not hot, and no refills were offered. We had to ask for standard condiments with meal( ketchup, cocktail , tartar) Waitress was rushed- threw our dessert forks on the table in one bunch and ran off. Checked with us a couple of times during meal(good), but seemed very rushed. It was busy. Service was ok, not great though, so when the four of us received the bill with the 20% gratuity added already for a “large party” ( 4 of us in a booth) we were surprised and not very pleased.“

“I ordered red velvet pancakes. It was HORRIBLE. It was room temperature. That white stuff in top had a fancy name, but it tasted like like cool whip. Cold cool whip on top of room temperature "pancakes". These were so dry, it tasted like half eaten bread you left out on the counter over night. You know how it's kinda hardened. Then the syrup...I can't do Log Cabin & stuff. Plz invest in pure maple syrup. I'll pay more too. That generic diabetes stuff is too artificially sweet....plus it was cold too. I definitely sent that cute looking but awfully executed mess back. I got spinach with egg & cheese on a croissant that was very good. Their breakfast potatoes were dynamite!

I never knew that Blk woman owned this place.. I'll definitely be back to support.

“My girlfriend and I took the 20 inch pizza home to eat. We got extra cheese and pepperoni on it. Their pizza was delicious!! They definitely don't skimp on the toppings that pizza was covered!! We recommended Slice to friends and family and we will definitely be returning customers.“

In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.“

“My wife and I decided at the last minute to go out on a Saturday evening and we picked Marie Louise Bistro for dinner. We sat outside and had a genuinely wonderful meal! While you often see the same staff there for years, our server this time was young and new to the industry. Despite that, you could tell she had received training from the other staff, and she did a fantastic job. A very good sign! She had another waiter show her how to open and pour the wine, but aside from that we’d have barely known she was new to the job. As for the food, it was excellent. I’d give 9 or 10 out of 10 for everything and my wife enjoyed her meal too. I had a 3-course that included a surf and turf special, and my wife had duck confit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced for the quality of food IMO. A gem of a restaurant! If any of you reading this have never been then I’d definitely recommend a visit!“

“I went to visit family and needed a place nearby that wasn't too expensive and chose the Embassy Suites. I've actually been to this place before but it's been easily 15-20 years since my last visit. The thing about Embassy Suites generally is that they're mostly the same - especially of the properties from the 80s era. Big, open central space and the rooms encircle it. The property is from that era and there are some things that show this in 2023 - like the old and slow elevators, but they've done a good job modernizing the place overall. Like my room. They gave me room 731 which is near the elevators closest to the lobby. Nice. The view overlooks an office park next door (there's not much to see in Hunt Valley). Imagine an 80s era room but modernized with marble counters and nicer fixtures with wifi, usb chargers and nice curtains and you've got 731. It was very pleasant and very comfortable. Since its a suite there's an outer room with seating and a kitchenette. I made use of the large screen tv to watch some movies and generally chill. Since it is an 80s-era bathroom, it's small. But they have modernized and it's perfectly fine. Shower was good with lots of pressure and everything worked. There is an indoor pool, but I did not use it. The breakfast is surprisingly good. Lots to choose from and the hot prepared food is pretty good also. No complaints. Staff was great. Welcoming, friendly, informative. Really, there's not much more I could ask for when on the road. I enjoyed my stay and would return again.“
