“Wow! I'm so grateful to have found Falafel House Cafe. The food is incredible. We had the chicken shawarma wrap, falafel wrap, pita and hummus, and tabbouleh salad. All were fresh and made to order. The tabbouleh salad was the best I've had. We will be back!“
“Food was bomb! The food came out pretty quickly, and our waters were were always filled. The food came out hot and pretty quick and it was just so flavorful. It's pretty dim inside but still nice inside. Don't skip out on this place, you won't regret it.“
“first time trying yemeni food, and it 100% blew me away. The chicken was so tender (actually fell off the bone like someone else here said), and the lamb was delicious as well. The bread was super fluffy too, and the rice was crazy!!! Genuinely so flavorful. Portions are massive here like everyone said, making this place so worth.“
“Upon arrival, we followed the faux grass carpet into a clean and open dining area where the comforting voice of a sports announcer danced with smells of rich spices and tea. We ordered Mushakal (veg. stew) and baba ghanouj to split and were pleasantly surprised to have been offered each our own starter soup and salad, hot tea, and a hefty serving of hummus to match the ghanouj. Staff was warm and pleasant, and made us feel as welcome as bubbles in a bathhouse. Food came quickly and was very reasonably priced. Upon leaving, for a moment I was sure that I was walking on a red carpet as soft as it was well-earned, but as I rubbed my rose tinted eyes, it was clear that I stood upon that same strip of turf, humble as the pale moon. As if waking from a dream, well wishes from the cashier waltzed us back into the glaring chatter of a Waverly sidewalk.“
“I was craving some lamb and rice and remember someone mentioned this spot opened up on a community page I am on.Stopped in and did not disappoint.Portion size was great. Food is delicious. And customer service was on point. Now I gotta check out the rest of the menu.Parking: Parking lot is small and cramped“
“OMG to think we almost didn't get in! Without a reservation on a Saturday night only a manager with great customer service skills could have made it happen. Our first time at Villagio, but definitely not the last. Food is absolutely delicious. If you haven't tried it yet, you're really missing out.“
“Excellent shawarma and literally my favorite pizza in Baltimore. Great service, owned by kind people. They’re also halal so all of my students can enjoy pizza parties to the fullest.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Halal-friendly“
“I have not been here in a few years, I love the Lamb Chops and Chicken SHawarma here. We stopped here for dinner 3 months ago, and it was a nice cold night for some Mediterranean food in the area. I ts a nice spot for families and friends. The Lamb Chops are juicey and tender. I love the jelly lamb sauce or great seasonings on them. Chicken Kebabs are great with the hummus. Nice place and owners here. Good to be back again.“
“I am genuinely very wary of food trucks/carts. (I'm going to generalize a lot here but...) They are usually overpriced, portion sizes are never up to par and it can be a stomach storm waiting to happen. That being said, after a long night waiting in the ER, I was in an adventurous mood. So I tried Yomna's Halal cart and was blown away! Where do I even start? The price! The flavors! The portion size! I was wrong about it all! For about $10 I got a drink and a meal. I almost felt like I was stealing! The Chicken over Rice is a culinary delight of flavors! The perfectly seasoned grilled chicken, thinly sliced over a generous bed of aromatic rice, smothered in that magical, white, tangy, creamy sauce and topped with a flavorful (not too spicy) hot sauce providing a satisfying kick of heat! All on top of a bed of lettuce, that was still fresh and crunchy. It might be one of the best things I've had in Baltimore. This is a must-try! If you're into food cart and if you aren't and best of all, no toilet roulette!“
“I came to have Iftar Ramadan. As soon as I entered, they asked have you had eaten Iftar? And I haven’t eaten yet. They immediately brought the Iftar with less than 5 minutes. The food remained me of Home. It was super fresh and yummy. The servers were super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend and I would definitely comeback again.“
“I Absolutely love the food. They take long to make it but I guess it's worth the wait.Don't take your family for a dine in barely any room to sit and it's uncomfortable.Food is A1.Chic peas is delicious.Check could be a little better but was still good.Overall 8 out of 10 for me.No complaints.“
“Restaurant found conveniently near the national aquarium. Small but comfy. Smelled great when we entered. Ordered the spiced sizzling sandwich and platter with falafel. The employee that worked on our meal was new but the follow-up employee (manager?) instructed him carefully and promptly got things in order. It took 4 mins for the falafel to be prepared. The sandwich was overflowing with lettuce and the chicken was little. The white and red sauce was not evenly spread through the sandwich. Ended with a sandwich that was mediocre and messy. The platter was in better shape. The chocolate baklava cheesecake was fantastic.“
“My dine in experience with my wife was absolutely wonderful! Jason and Hannah took very good care of us and every dish we had was phenomenal. They suggested the seafood paella and we immediately went for it, I am so glad. The spices, the sweetness and the textures were all on point. The artichoke and eggplant appetizer was game changing. We ended up getting the lamb kabob to go just to try it, it’s also incredible. We had the carrot cake and saffron ice cream for dessert and they brewed a fresh pot of delicious strong coffee. The atmosphere is really pretty and relaxing and as I’ve stated, the service was more than great!“
