“My friend and I have been trying Pubs and eateries in the Baltimore area and this one popped up on Trip Advisor. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. This is a friendly neighborhood Pub and Grill that screams good food & service. The lady running the grill should be named a grill master with everything she makes. The burgers are at least ¾ of a pound of quality beef and made exactly the way you ask and the fries are freshly cut and prepared. I also had the Jerk Chicken strips, which were delicious (Not the quantity I expected for $12.00) but very good. I saw the wings come out for someone else and they looked good too. The young lady making drinks was exceptional with her knowledge of mixology. I am going to make it a point to bring my neighbor and her boyfriend here next time. I live on the North side of Baltimore city, but this is worth the drive.“

“My wife and I went here for the first time while visiting spots in Baltimore associated with Edgar Allen Poe. This place is advertised as one of his last stops before he mysteriously died and we visited here on the same day we visited the house he lived in for 2 years between 1833-35 and after visiting his grave site in Baltimore. While food and service were excellent, we were also excited to enjoy live music while we ate. This is a bar and is probably the reason for how dimly lit it was in places in the bar, but that's why I rated the atmosphere as 4 stars. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our wine, food and the time we visited and will definitely come back.“

“The people are what make the place. My father (Richard Roden) spent many a year either working there of going for his 3pm beer. The love and caring of these people amaze me and while it was odd being in there today with out him. I understood why he never wanted to miss a day there. Thank you to all for looking after my Dad and giving him a home away from home.“

“Let me start off by saying I visited this quaint little pub for the first time on 2/25. It's not located in the greatest of neighborhoods but it is well worth the risk of bodily harm to visit. The beer is cold, the bartender was a peach and like a previous reviewer stated, there is even a friendly little fella that lives on a dog bed there. I think he is more of a beer gnome than a hobbit though. He wasn't so friendly at first but once he got a few beers in him he cheered right up. Great place, 5 stars for sure“

“Sad that security can't even do their own job and make sure patrons get back to their vehicles safe. This clown decided he was going to assault my daughters mother as she was leaving your establishment & put his hands on her. Then has the audacity to tell her he will smack her while she's on the phone with me. On a better note, I am paying for any information on the gentleman in the picture. Name, address, and I will keep it confidential. This type of behavior from a grown man that can't take no is unacceptable and I need to find him before the police do. Please and thank you. “Miss this place a lot. I used to go a lot when I worked closer to it. Highly recommend trying the Wings of Destiny on your first first visit but there are so many flavors, you will surely find a favorite. And the bartenders there are always super cool.“

“I heard the stories about this place and it had been closed for a couple of years as the hotel it's in underwent renovation and ownership changes but it's back open and I couldn't be happier.

Steve the bartender is currently a one man show and we were there on the weekend it reopened and he was so happy to be back in his happy place. The man is a cocktail maven who loves his craft and what he does and his customers as well.

There is currently no menu here you ask for what you want or can tell Steve what you are in the mood for and he will make something amazing!

I got a smoked old fashioned that he smokes with his own blend of wood and spices and it was easily in the Top 5 of best old fashioneds I've ever had.
