“Lived in the area for quite some time, and have been here in the past as well as just recently. I do not normally leave reviews but for this place i will make an exception. Although they are a little bit different from the Crackpot in the past, and have recently gone through some staff/menu changes, this place is an honest 10/10. My friends and I had a number of items on the menu recently including the Baltimore Seafood Pasta, the Chicken Penne with Alfredo, the Buffalo wings fried hard of course, and the Cheesesteak sub. All of the food came out in a timely manner and was absolutely delicious. Then we stayed for a couple drinks for happy hour and they were phenomenal. Real local Maryland seafood, bar, and restaurant.“

“Wow! We ordered carryout from Ellie’s Tavern and were absolutely blown away. The food was incredible — huge portions, hand-cut fries, house-made blue cheese, and perfectly hand-breaded chicken tenders. The Crab Rangoon dip and Buffalo Cauliflower were outstanding. The new owner is awesome, supportive, creative & hard working. His staff handled our party well & everyone was happy. We always love going to this spot for our family reunions/gatherings. “Absolutely delicious soup!
The broth is rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced — not spicy at all, just right. The meat is without any fat or tough veins, and that is extremely important to me. It tastes very fresh, not like deep-frozen meat, and it’s incredibly soft and tender.
The soup is simply excellent. I actually hunt for authentic Mexican soups like this! I’m a truck driver, and most of the food I come across on the road is terrible… but this place is a big exception.
