“We love this hidden little gem, not only is the service, so friendly and inviting the ice cream is out of this world. We love seeing the fat pig Jamall and the baby goats and chickens. It is an adventure and if you are considering going, I would definitely make it a priority, crate for friends, family and kid friendly bring change to bring change to feed the little critters, and the view is impeccable !”

The people that work here are so friendly and warm (at this point they can identify me by name over the drive thru speaker LOL) that it doesn’t matter how small my order is or how long I have to wait, I’ll tip these kind folks every time and I think more of us should be so thankful to have people this happy to be there instead of the usual angry/tired morning faces I see anywhere else <3”

“Had a few friends in from out of town and I recommended we try something different. Made a reservation with Old Westminster Winery and we were very pleasantly surprised. It is a "hidden gem" of Carroll County! Staff was very nice, cozy-laid back atmosphere, food was delicious. Jacob is the Manager and very hospitable and making sure everyone was pleased. I would highly recommend visiting!!”

“Had the Sweet Chili Tuna tonight, and it was easily the best meal I've had there yet, and I've never had a disappointing experience. Cooked to perfection, and the sauce had a spot-on level of sweetness and spice. The mashed potatoes, broccoli, and bed of spinach were a delicious accompaniment. We started with the cream of crab soup. Sitting in the dining area, watching the falling snow, and sipping a cup of coffee. What a great way to start the weekend.”

“Saw this place was open on Sunday. I was trying to find somewhere chill to watch some of the Ravens game. Sure glad I did. Pizza was delicious and the drinks were cold. Got a pub dog Sunday cup. Definitely worth it if you go on Sundays. Sara and Layna were the bartenders and they did a great job. Friendly and knowledgeable. Shout out to them if management see this! Two good employees right there. Definitely going to go back. Thanks for a good Sunday experience!”

It's fresh, it's varied, and has something for everyone. It's ruined a few people's tastes though...they totally swore off miller or Budweiser after trying the farmhouse ale.”

“We stopped in Emmitsburg for gas and chow, on our way back to NY, and decided to forgo McDonalds for once and get a pie from Carleo’s when we spotted the store front. So glad we did…possibly the best pizza we ever had! We hit the road and ate the whole 16” pie in 10 minutes and were seriously debating on turning around for another.”

“Stopped in f a late breakfast and arrived about 1:15. We knew they closed at 2:00 so did not plan on staying too long. Omelette was very good, potatoes very good and waffle and eggs also very good (amazing how many places can screw up a waffle and eggs). Even though we got there late wait staff was very friendly and made sure everything was good with us. Looking forward to our next visit. If we lived in the area would certainly be a regular!! Nothing fancy, just good food and friendly staff.”

“My kids and I have become regulars at Tony's. I have a 1-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. We always order a large cheese pizza, which is absolutely delicious. Our regular waitress, Brandy, knows our order now and puts it in right as we're walking in, sometimes before we've even entered the building if she sees us in the parking lot. And last night she went above and beyond - she had a little stocking for each of my kids with little surprises tucked inside. Never have I ever had a waitress or waiter go out of their way like that. Brandy is fantastic. Now back to the pizza, it's delicious! And for $14.99, I can take my kids and I, and even one of their grandparents along with us, and we can all have dinner "on the cheap" , and give my kids a great experience of learning how to dine out.”

The salad bar was clean, fresh, and fully stocked…even hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese. The crabs were fresh and cooked perfectly - full of flavor. The service was friendly, attentive, efficient, and welcoming, making us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Overall, it was a fantastic down to earth family friendly dining experience, and we will definitely be returning.”
