NEXT TIME, please don't forget the GRAVY!!!!....and make sure you include all of the sides! Thank you! “I haven't tasted food this fresh in a very long time! I don't eat out often because I'm very particular because the majority of food places these days have really gone down in regards to the quality of their food and customer service. This place was introduced to me by my husband. A hidden gem it is! It's black owned and operated and the food is delicious. You can tell that the food is meticulously put together with integrity. The chef really cares about what he puts out for others to eat you can just taste that. If I were you, I'd rush to give them a try!! ASAP They have this whiting fish sandwich that is absolutely delicious! There's a special sauce that they slather on there that compliments the sandwich well! Food is also reasonably priced! To me, the best food spot on this side of town! Also, for those who are vegan, this restaurant doesn't sell nor cook any pork products at all. They have herbal drinks also....the pineapple hibiscus is yummy!!

“I frequent Carolina Kitchen weekly, sometimes twice in one week. The food is delicious, especially the stewed chicken, beef bbq ribs, cabbage, greens and black eye peas as well as their baked beans. The food is seasoned appropriately, not too salty or bland, just right. The staff is superb. I recommend Carolina Kitchen to anyone who appreciates good food.“

“Sadly I went to try out this establishment today and was welcome with flies flying around all the food. Not a good experience when you first walk into the door. Unfortunately because of all the flies that was flying and landing on the food that you service people turned me completely off. “Well seasoned and cooked food (not over or under cooked). Prices are reasonable for vegan food. The drumettes are the main reason I went to this restaurant and they did not disappoint. My order included collard greens, black eye peas over rice, lemon herb drumettes and honey drumettes. I never pass up sorrel and it was very good as well. I will return the next time I’m in MD.“
