“The server, Karen is friendly and helpful. The crab dip is amazing. I live in New Mexico and visit Maryland once or twice a year. The Tavern is a must visit numerous times on each visit. Every time I make sure the crab dip is part of my order.“

“This place is what it is! It hasn't changed and is an excellent place to go and have a great time. Staff is friendly and drinks are always available. Food is cooked fresh and delicious. Hamburgers are the best.Parking: They have a large stone parking lot.“

“Stopped in on our way through town. Greeted by Jessica who apologized for the delay and asked for our patience. She took our drink order and brought our drinks over a few minutes later. We were then greeted by Craig, who was very friendly and outgoing. Both he and Jessica took their time giving their menu recommendations on a very slammed Sunday evening. I ordered the seafood flatbread. It was AMAZING!!!! The amazing food, very friendly staff… if I’m ever in the area again, I will defiantly be stopping in!!! Thank you Craig and Jessica!!“

“This was my first visit but I had such a fantastic time. We came for karaoke and had an absolutely incredible time. Typical homey bar atmosphere. A very friendly bouncer who watched out for our stuff when we were singing. The only mild complaint is that the mixed drinks were weak, though they tasted great. We drove a long distance to find karaoke and are very glad to have ended up here.“

“The food was really good, and the fries were great with the delex burger I got, and the place has a really cool bar on the bottom floor with doors to go out to the pattio. You seat yourself, and a waiter or waitress comes over pretty quick. They have dining plates for the main meal but the small appetizer plates are thick paper plates, and glasses are plastic so you can take to go (probably beause they just opened about 2 weeks ago so understandable they don't have all the plates and glasses yet). The restaurant has a nice view on the top floor of the field where the golf course used to be. It has the same nice view on the porch outside of the top floor. Overall, it is a nice new restaurant that has some good food, good views, and a cool bar.“

“I've been there several times to hear bands play. This place is a private social club and is compact but has plenty of room for guests. The parking lot isn't very big so I typically park on Jefferson Street.. Good food and courteous staff.“

“Love this place and is right down the street from my place. Get to know quite alot a few people there! The pool table is 10.00 but is always busy. Great servers and bartenders, and they look out for you their. Make sure you get home safe, n ok. Prices are reasonable, and people you get to me are great!“

“What a fantastic time! Not only was the food excellent, the pool tables were really nice, it was a relaxing atmosphere, but above all else, the service from Victor was above and beyond. He made a delicious pizza, kept us updated on when it would be ready, was very kind and attentive, and he took the time to come over and take it back to box it up for us too. Everything was wonderful, and I absolutely recommend that spot for anyone who loves great food, nice pool tables, and wonderful service :)“

I had crab cakes (lots of crab) and my BIL had the Chesapeake burger... he said his was really good as well.“
