“Much Better than the Gaithersburg location. We been going to hook & reel in Gaithersburg for 2 years and this was our 1st time at this location. Everything was 10x better. Only downside is this is a 35 min drive when the other location was only 10 min away. Let’s just say We won’t be going back to Gaithersburg again!! Everything here was Amazing!!!“
“Service is very attentive, if not completely knowledgeable of what exactly their menu offerings are trying to achieve (it's kind of a blend of local with New Orleans, we gathered). We are not huge fans of several of the menu offerings, so of course, our ratings reflect that. Oysters, duck, and several N.O. options were just not our thing. We were mostly there for the drinks & ambiance, which were top shelf. Bottom line, go for the traditional & reimagined Louisiana fare, excellent libations and good times.“
“Came here on a whim because I had a taste for some Caribbean food and lamb chops, and I was not disappointed. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the staff and the premises was nice and clean. I ordered the lamb chops, rice and peas, and greens and cabbage. I also ordered the deviled eggs with shrimp as an appetizer. Though the price was a bit high it was definitely worth it. They brought my appetizer out before the entree which I must say is important to me. The deviled eggs were amazing! I got 5 of them and good sized shrimp with jerk sauce. I could eat a dozen of these!! Next the lamb chops. They were okay, tons of flavors the only thing I can say is I wish they were cooked medium/medium rare but that may be on me for not asking. These were cooked closer to medium well, which wasn't bad but not my preference. But the rice and peas were great as was the greens and cabbage. The portion sizes are good (not too much and not too little) Overall, my meal was satisfying and I would return. The staff made sure I was good (also clean bathroom!) Check this place out!“
“This is such a hidden gem in the DMV area. It was a last minute decision to come here and I don’t regret anything! Their seafood was so fresh and the drinks are AMAZING! The servers were very sweet and friendly. We order for 4 and have so much leftovers. Even the bag that they send you home with is reusable. I would say the best cajun seafood place I had ever. You should try their house special sauce, you won’t regret it!“

“JC has the best crabs! I’ve been eating crabs from JCs for over 4 years now and they haven’t let me down! Cindy is so kind and personable, she’s very knowledgeable about the crabs and sizes. I’ve got to know her mom as well and their very kind people! I usually get extra large or jumbo crabs, their delicious corn, their sweet tea and brown paper roll as my regular order and I have been let down! “OMG!! The boil with the World Sauce is out of this world delicious! The crab and crawfish were fresh, the corn and potatoes were delicious and the sausage was incredible and super plentiful! We were honestly pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was! We haven't even cleared the table and I'm already writing my review. We just called the manager, Ash, to rave about the food (which we rarely do but it was THAT good) and he was SO kind and appreciative! Just go! You will be so happy you did!!! “Best Snow Crabs in the city if you want that creole flavor I miss from NOLA. I figured out the flavors. Get the shabang medium which for me is perfect because I don’t like too much spice but I love the flavor of the creole spice. I always get the lemon pepper crab fries. Never leave without an order of the shabang bang shrimp medium to go for later!! Love this place!“
“Their food is freshly cook every time I get it. I love their crispy Cajun shrimp. It is super crispy outside and the shrimp inside is just right and tasty! Their honey/orange chicken is also good. Bourbon chicken is the must try! For sides, I usually get their broccoli( heathy lol) and their Mac and cheese!Recommend this store to everyone!“
