“I consider Jackie and the crew at Hook & Reel Wheaton to be friends of mine. I work close by and pop in at the bar often. The Happy Hour, which starts at 1PM (yes, you read that correctly) has insanely low prices, and the "pour" on both glasses of wine and cocktails are unmatched. Great ambience, clean as a whistle, a ton of regulars at the bar and a Touchtunes jukebox on the wall to bring your own soundtrack with you. What's not to LOVE about this place? 🍷🍹🥂🍻🦀“

“I been going here since I was a kid and the food never get old. My favorite food to get in wheaton mall. They use to remember me back in 2018 when I use to go a lot but now they forgot about me sadly. 10/10 food love it a lot. “Fantastic food and the drinks were particularly delightful. We unknowingly went during restaurant week and had some folks pick that menu while others ate a la carte. From bread service through dessert, everyone was incredibly pleased with the experience.“

“Born and raised in southeast Texas and been here about six months. I’ve been missing Cajun food. We got the catfish poboy with fries, side of beans and rice, and New Orleans BBQ shrimp. Everything hit the mark. The bread and New Orleans shrimp tasted exactly how they should, perfect. Beans were soft and flavorful with shredded meat and sausage in there. Wish the catfish was seasoned a little more but that’s probably just my preference.

Hope to try the beignet fries if they bring them back.“

“I visited Miss Toya"s Creole on Saturday September 30th. I took my oldest son for his birthday ?. My waitress Hope gave excellent customer service. The food was awesome as always. The manager Imai came to our table numerous times to make sure everything was good. Please go to Miss Toyas in Silver Springs Md the food and customer service will not disappoint you.“

“This was my first visit at the Blues Alley and it was special because one my favorite artists and one of the best renowned bass player was in town. My 4th time attending and watching Richard Bona in concert. I could not have been more delighted. The venue is cosy but can be tight in term of space. Food and drinks are served there and that is ok. Opened at 6pm. I need to come back.“

“What a nice meal! We ordered our meal to go and it took about a half hour to prepare. I got the Ocean Catch #A, which came in a big plastic bag! Perfectly cooked crab legs and shrimp and the seafood legend sauce was very tasty - it tasted like a mix of Cajun seasoning, garlic and butter. I got the mild spice level, which was flavorful but not hot. The potato and corn that it came with were also good. The seafood catches and boils seen to be the specialty and mine was worth the money. My husband's salmon was good but unexciting and would have benefited from some of the same seasoning as mine. It was also a small portion for the price. However, his New England clam chowder was thick and flavorful. My five year old had the fried white fish and seemed content with it. Although we did not eat in the restaurant, it was well decorated and looked inviting - hopefully I will be able to eat there in person soon! On a side note, they also have bubble tea, which was delicious!“

“My homegirl and I came to JC Crab house after work craving crabs on this this nice warm day. We got here around 6pm the place was empty and quiet just for us. We got the shrimp basket and a dozen male crabs…it was delicious! I washed it down with some Riesling wine, I will be be back when the weather breaks :)“

“I enjoyed my order as it was fresh, hot, and tasty. The service was a bit odd, but pretty good overall. My only suggestion would be to let the plantains cook a little longer to get more color on them. It's a mall food court, and I don't expect much more than a fast casual setting.“
