“I really love this place. Since recently moving from Korea to the U.S., I find myself coming here whenever I crave Korean fried chicken. This is the only place that truly captures the taste of the chicken I used to enjoy back home. I once tried the BBQ branch in Greenbelt, but I was really disappointed—it didn’t taste anything like what I remember.

Whenever I feel homesick, I come here for chicken. The breading is perfectly crispy without being too thick, and the meat is juicy and fried to perfection. It's the kind of flavor that lights up a bulb in my head and brings me right back to Korea.“

“Best Peruvian chicken, everything else is just charbroil chicken. Nothing compares to the flavor. The only dislike I have is that the beans count as a side, and rice counts as another side. “This location without a doubt is the best Nandos location I've had the absolute pleasure of visiting during my time in DC. I visited DC over a year ago, and tried Nandos for the very first time and was absolutely blown away by the quality, affordability, and the options available, it was so good in fact, that my friends and I visited this location MULTIPLE times in a single weekend.

The atmosphere here is lovely, and everyone working here is friendly and genuinely cares about maintaining a well running and consistent establishment, the managers seem to be on duty and working just as much as every other employee and that is how it should be at a place like this in my mind.

I recently had the pleasure of returning to DC and was pleasantly surprised that this Nandos was just as good as I remembered it being a year ago, and I hope that it continues to be a staple of my DC visits in the future (we went more than once again and I have zero regrets). Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you can.“

“The Olney store is clean and comfortable. I especially liked the way the manager, Brian, was observant when two staff members were being unprofessional. Even though they were off the clock, they were still in uniform eating in the dining area. He spoke discreetly with them because they were being loud. He also cleared my tray for me, which is uncommon these days in a fast food restaurant. I'd return to this location again and again. The food is fresh and so yummy!“

“Spicebird is a take-out place inside Makan. Ordered the half chicken with two sides - chicken n wood ear mushroom and the cold noodles. Additional two sides of the crispy potato and fried rice. Although all 4 were great, I loved the chicken n friend rice most. $18 for the half chicken and two sides is a great value meal and the ingredients were fresh! Loved it

“It's impossible not to compare Don Pollo to other local Peruvian chicken places, like Crisp & Juicy or el Pollo Rico. Because of that there's a high bar set. The chicken is fresh, juicy, and well seasoned, but I'd have preferred a more crispy skin. The black beans and rice lacked flavor, definitely needed salt. The fries were where they lost me. They weren't fresh, weren't seasoned, weren't hot, and worst of all, they were kind of soggy. The sauces were very good. You get a bright green spicy sauce, that seems to be made from fresh peppers, perhaps jalapeño. Then there's a mayo based creamy orange colored sauce. Frankly because the chicken is so well seasoned, I don't think it needs sauce, but it's nice to have the option.“

“We were a family of five at the Cleveland Zoo. The cashier we had was a young snippy girl that had I not had grandkids with me would of told her to get her attitude in check and now. If you can't handle that workload, get a different job. I went over to another stand to get a straw because her job was causing her to blow a gasket. Food was good, 4 chicken tenders and fries but why the separate charge for a drink?“
