“We were very impressed with the quality of sushi and the level of customer service - when we got home from picking up our order tonight, we realized they’d forgotten to give us our miso soups and shrimp tempura appetizers while there. We saw that they’d called us to let us know and one of the team had also chased after my husband as he drove away. Anyway, they made it right and we will be a repeat customer for sure! Our kids loved the edamame, crunchy California roll and soups, and we recommend the Sushi & Sashimi combo. Delicious!“

“Tasty but inconsistent. My husband finds their food too sweet - like they use more sugar in the sauces than normal. Twice they've forgotten to include the soup I paid extra for, so double-check before leaving.

Portion sizes are great - we always have lots of leftovers when we get 3 combo meals for 2 adult and 2 young kids.

We had the sesame chicken and orange chicken (both on the sweet side) and the hunan beef (very fresh and nice). We ordered medium spicy for the beef and even though I could see red pepper on it, it wasn't spicy - at all. I even gave some to the baby. The fried rice and egg rolls are good.“

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! “The best vegan dining experience I’ve ever had, and “I’ve been around the block”. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by the hostess, from the server, the sommelier, the food, ambiance- everything was perfect. The food was unique, and delicious. (even my non vegan friend loved it) however, the presentation and service is what put the cherry on top. Just a one of a kind dining experience that will be very hard to top.“

“It’s tough to find a vegan restaurant that really elevates vegetables instead of just giving you reheated Gardein items but Planta does it. The ambience is very sleek and modern (great for a date night) the bar is well-stocked and there are a ton of different vegetable-centered food options that are done really well. My wife also has a gluten allergy and they went through the menu with her to discuss what options were safest for her. We’ll be back for sure.“

“Honestly thee best raw vegan food I have ever tasted . My favorite right now is the Live burger entree with arugula salad and plantains. For dessert I love their doughnuts OMG so delicious . “My friends who live nearby rave about this place. Maintaining a top rating on Yelp and Google, I had to go. A friend and I showed up around 1:30pm on a Friday for lunch. The owner greeted us and quickly took our orders.

The Deluxe Meat Combo generously fed two men. Every dish on the injera was tasty, but our favorites were the Shewa Doro Tibs, Shewa Alicha Wot, Shewa Doro Wot, and Shewa Bozena Shiro. The portions are generous that we had to ask for more injera.

The space is no-frills, but comes with a few small tables. Street parking is nearby.“

“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me.
