“My husband and I met some friends for dinner here. We passed by multiple, but this was our first time in. It feels like an upscale sports bar when you walk in. The service was standard and the food was very good. I heard that the lamb was a dish people raved about, so I tasted it. It did not disappoint! The salmon bites were also delicious. We had a great time! I think just about anyone would enjoy themselves here. It's not too casual, but not pretentious.“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. “This is a typical bar with with bar food. No Different than TGI Friday, except a little better. The service is "OK" the servers are untrained as to waiting on tables. The first thing that should be brought to tables is eating utensils and napkins, the water. The tables dont have slat & pepper available for their patrons, you need to ask for it. The menus are not placed in front of customers upside down. (And I even brought it to her attention and she still didn’t correct it) ?? All in all the server was trying very hard to be attentive. The food was not terrible, it's typical bar food, and dont expect anything more. The Boom Boom shrimp are pre breaded frozen shrimp with the tails on and then fried and covered in some type of sauce. My daughter liked the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. The onion rings I thought were good. I ordered the toasted Italian sub and wasn't offered the option to get tater tots -vs- fries. I didn’t realize this till later and the fries were soggy. I think this is an "OK" spot for someone looking for a bar atmosphere and same for the food & service.“

“Dude, this place smacks. Super welcoming vibe, great prices, great drinks, and even greater service. The owner and the bartender were a pleasure to hang out with and they make sure to immediately give water to every patron and top you off constantly, which shows they care. Absolutely love their dressed beers selection - I usually order a dressed beer of some sort and never see it listed on paper. I cannot stress how good a Spaghett is - it's my go-to, please try it. As DnD nerds we had to do the Critical Roll. We meant to just stop by for a nightcap after dinner but ended up staying and watching movies and bantering with the gracious hosts for many rounds. I wish I wasn't a tourist because I'd make this my regular haunt if I lived here.“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“Everything was excellent. The crabs were seasoned just the way I like them with a cold Coors light. Those sweet potato fries were to die for and the wings were freshly fried so they were juicy and seasoned to perfection. We also had the privilege of chatting with the owner Steve and Tyler and the two waitresses that waited on us was very attentive. I highly recommend this spot which I had passed by several times but never stopped.“

“This bar has the best chicken sandwiches in Canton, pretty sure they are called Chicken Littles. The rest of their food menu is pretty stacked as well and the bartenders all make quality drinks. Jordan is the man make sure you ask for the “Redneck Vacation” he also makes great Espresso Martinis if that’s your thing. Overall great time in the square.“

“For a bar on the outside it’s not like a looker but don’t let that steer you away. They have a small food menu but they do it Good. I got chicken tenders and a chicken cheesesteak both were yummy. If you want a cool afternoon drink and lunch with a chill vibe this is the spot. The bar tender Sharon was very polite and sweet and the cook even came out to deliver the food to us. I would highly recommend this bar for budget food and drink for a good buck👍🤟“

“Had brunch there this morning and it was super yummy. The only complaint is that the bar chairs are not comfortable. I was in jeans and I was constantly sliding forward. I used my feet to push me back on and hold me there; I shouldn’t have to engage my muscles to sit in a bar chair. Other than that, it was great. Good food, good service, and good bartenders.“

“Loved it. Blue collar, friendly, sports bar with awesome wings. Everyone at the bar was really friendly and the waitresses and bartender did a great job.

Gentleman in the suit at the host stand with the grimace, was a little off putting but Bong reined it in with genuine hospitality. The galaktoboureko dessert, I would love to try freshly made as this one was reheated so the custard broke and the pastry was soggy. Baklava was sweet, flaky and served with ice cream. The atmosphere was awesome, bar was very clean, bathrooms was nice ( but could use some fresh toilet seats). Planning to give the menu another try and sit outside on the bay.. one day.“

“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

“Excellent experience! While my bestie was having brain surgery at Johns Hopkins I walked down to this neighborhood bar. I met the manger Dave and the bartender Merideth. Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore. “My friend and I visited this lounge for the first time last month. It is a BEAUTIFUL lounge. A great atmosphere and gorgeous ambiance. The bartender was very nice. However, our experience could have been better for a couple reasons: First, a lot of the items on the food menu were unavailable! Maybe the lounge was waiting for a food inventory delivery? Who knows? My friend tried to order three food items off the menu, and for each item the bartender said “I have to check with the kitchen to see if we have it!” They didn’t have the three items. My friend settled for the steamed shrimp. 🤷🏾‍♀️ My second and last issue/complaint: We both ordered a delicious pink martini-style drink (I forgot the exact name). The drink was good but it was mainly juice/sugar/grenadine— it hardly had any alcohol. It tasted like we were drinking a really good pink lemonade beverage lol. I will give this lounge another chance and most likely several more chances because it’s near my house. They should just stop skimping on the alcohol and have most menu items in stock!“
