“Absolutely Delicious – Best Fish Sub Around! I can’t say enough good things about East Drive Kitchen! I stopped in on a whim and decided to try their fish sub—and WOW. Hands down one of the best fish subs I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The bread was fresh and soft, and the toppings were just right—not too much, not too little. You can tell they take pride in their food. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast, even during the lunch rush. If you’re in the area and craving something satisfying, do yourself a favor and get the fish sub. Their pizza is absolutely delicious, and their beer options are delightful with so many different flavors to choose from. They also have a super clever setup where the beers come in pairs, which is a really great touch.

“Tried Upper Crust for the first time today. It’s now my new go to pizza place. We’ve lived in Elkridge on the east end of HoCo for 25 years and our local joints have just fallen off lately so i went in search of a new place to get good pizza. I love good pizza. This place has great crust, it’s crispy and chewy just like it’s supposed to be. The ratio of sauce and cheese and toppings was just right too. If you’re looking for good pizza in central or eastern HoCo this is the place. It’s right near Howard High. Thank you Upper Crust for being there for me and having great pizza.“

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

“We went to the Towson location Sunday evening and can't say enough good things!! First off, the young gentleman at the front was the friendliest and most personable person I've ever met at any restaurant. He got us waters and menus and made small talk with us. We got the garlic knots. UPC sampler and a whole pepperoni. Everything was soooooo good!! We had so many leftovers too! What a great find!! “Ok so I’m soo late at writing my reviews. I initially came the first time based off reviews and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The food and service I received was amazing. He recognized I was a new customer and made my experience feel so personal. So I came back 2 nights ago because of that experience and I remembered I didn’t do a review the first time and just remembered just now, there pizza I got was so good pepperoni and mushroom well done was so good and Rich. And this time I tried the buffalo wings hot, well done and those were also very delicious. You won’t be disappointed, I promise. I waited no more than about 12 mins each time.“

“I come here very often I’m disabled I have IDD I also have physical disabilities and the lady here I don’t know her name and want to respect her privacy but she was angry at me when I explained multiple times to her my order she messed it up gave me the wrong breadsticks when I specifically asked for 2 orders of 5 cheesy breadsticks. She specially gave me a messed up order. I’m friends with the owner he’s very sweet and I also have multiple chronic illnesses and have been in a flareup recently. I want to ask the kind owner to please take action.

I called today and the manager gave me free cheesy breadsticks just like I wanted here is the photo. I confused him for the owner but I just wanted to thank Mr. Alex and change my review since I never leave bad reviews 😊. Thank you so much Mr. Alex! 🙏🏼 I also got a free Mountain Dew!“

“One of the leaders from an online Skool community suggested we finally meet in person, and he picked Philly's Best because he grew up just a couple of blocks away. He called it an old neighborhood dive, and those are usually my favorite kinds of recommendations.

I'm happy to report it didn't disappoint.

The young lady at the counter was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the food was cooked fresh instead of being rushed out the door. I went with one of the paninis, and it was excellent. Honestly, based on what I saw coming out of the kitchen, I don't think you'd go wrong with much of anything on the menu.

Inside is fairly small, but that's part of the charm. It's clearly a well-loved neighborhood spot, and there was a steady stream of customers coming in and out while we were there. Despite the constant flow, they kept things moving quickly without making you feel rushed.

There's also a community pool right next door, which explains why this place stays busy. Swimming has a funny way of making people hungry, and this is a perfect spot to refuel afterward. If the weather's nice, there are a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy your meal as well.

These are the kinds of places I love finding. No gimmicks, no trying to be trendy, just good food, friendly people, and a neighborhood restaurant that's earned the loyalty of the people around it. If you happen to be in the Columbia area, it's definitely worth swinging by.“

“Locals Only serves some of the best pizza in and around Baltimore—truly top-tier. The pies are consistently excellent, especially when you dine in, and even for takeout they hold up well if you ask for a crispier crust. The Brussels sprout Caesar is another standout, even if it can run a little heavy on the dressing. And for happy hour, the prices are almost unbeatable for the quality you’re getting.

Our experience is really centered on the early evening, and that’s where things feel a bit different from the late-night buzz the place is known for. During happy hour it’s usually surprisingly quiet, which makes it easy to grab a table but also feels unexpected given how popular the restaurant becomes later. The “Locals Only” concept is clever, but despite visiting pretty regularly around that time, we don’t quite feel recognized as locals—something that could make the theme feel more meaningful. The music can also be louder than you’d expect for 5–6pm. Still, even with those quirks, we keep coming back for one very simple reason: the food is excellent.“
