“On July 27, 2024, placed an order for a cheese steak sub and a ginger ale. The only part of the order that was correct was the ginger ale. I called the restaurant and explained my issued to the night manager. He immediately had a new ordered to my home. I thank him for solving the issue immediately. I don't think (lack of attention to detail) will happen again. I am a Pat Pizza customer because people like him . THANK YOU AGAIN“

“My family and I happened up on this cool little place while on vacation and in Baltimore for one day. Loved the atmosphere and the fact that it’s a local place and not a chain that I can get at home in Louisiana. Pizza and wings were great and staff was friendly and attentive.“

“Johnny Rad’s is a cool spot in Upper Fells Point. I first discovered it during my vegan journey and appreciated their meat alternative options. I hadn’t been back in a while, but my vegetarian daughter wanted a burger, and I remembered they had a great Impossible Burger. We ordered her the burger with fries (extra charge), and my wife and I opted for the ribeye cheesesteaks.

I placed a carryout order online, paid via Apple Pay, and declined a tip. Personally, I don’t tip for carryout unless I’m dining in, so I found it odd when I arrived and was asked to sign a receipt, even though I had already paid online. It seemed like they were hoping I’d reconsider the tip, which can feel a bit awkward.

Another thing I noticed: when the bartender gave me our food, it wasn’t in a bag. Baltimore’s bag fee aside, there was no option to add a bag when ordering online, which would have been helpful.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized they forgot the fries. The sandwiches came with chips, but they were stale, which is fairly common around here. I decided not to call the restaurant and just made a mental note to check my order next time.

That said, the food itself was solid. My daughter loved her burger, and my wife and I enjoyed the cheesesteaks—fresh bread, good portions, though I did find a few small bones in my sandwich (understandable with ribeye).

Overall, I’d recommend Johnny Rad’s for the quality and freshness of the food. However, I’d suggest a few improvements: double-check orders to avoid missing items, give customers a heads-up about the lack of bags, and eliminate the unnecessary receipt signing for online payments—it feels like pressure to tip. Despite these minor issues, I’ll definitely return, but I’ll be sure to check my order before leaving.“

“We have gone to Iggies many times and always were treated with such hospitality. We live in the area and know this is THE place to go. We even ended up asking if they could host our dress rehearsal dinner. Mehmet graciously worked with us and put together a wonderful event. All our guests were amazed by how good the pizza and food were. There are so many different options of pizzas and guests left so full because they wanted to try each one! We are most especially thankful for Mehmet and his whole family making us feel so welcomed.

“There is a lot of pizza out there. Very little is really bad, most is decent. HomeSlyce is amazing. Flavorful crust baked just right, nifty featured pizzas and you can of course pick your own toppings. But forget all that goodness: they can turn your dream pizza into an out of this world calzone!
Throw in a nifty vibe, reasonable prices and friendly service... we'll keep coming again and again. Try the four cheese and garlic, classic margherita or elevate to the super delish BBQ chicken kale!

“Fantastic pizza. Both the square thick crust and thin crust were so good. Did the square with pepperoni and sweet hot honey? And the cheesesteak pizza. BOTH were great in different ways. Inside was clean.. just very understated (like a deli) but they do have tables. Timomium location doesn't have fountain drinks, beer/wine alcohol... just canned or bottled drinks.. BUT I will go back for the amazing pizza. Workers were super nice. NOTHING bad to say... just for me... takeout only. Food is fantastic.“

“My girlfriend and I had a wonderful take out experience. The pepperoni pizza had a crispy crust, zesty sauce, and good ratio of cheese & pepperoni. The cheesesteak was exactly what I requested. Excellent amount of cheese, mayo, in a fresh toasted roll. The fries were golden but needed to be just a wee bit more crispy. Nonetheless, still great! Overall, a delightful meal that we look forward to enjoying again.“

“My family and I stopped in Mario's to grab a bite to eat after watching a movie at the Senator Theater across the street from it and believe me when I say that the pizza is outstandingly delicious ???. Also, the service is outstanding as well. The owner took time out of his duties to check on us and that all is well. This is definitely a pizza place that I am going to be visiting often.“

“We get take out pizza at Philly's Best, and sometimes subs. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. The people are very nice. Caveat, a few years ago they had some very rude people working the counter but they have resolved that issue and everything is great here again with the service. The atmosphere is typical take out pizza and sub shop. Very clean and neat. Easy parking. The food is always delicious. Give Philly's Best in Thunder Hill a try, you will be glad that you ordered pizza and subs here.

“Placed an order for the first time at 4:30 PM, drove across town and got there @4:47 PM, I was acknowledged and taken care of and out by 4:50PM. Upon receiving the order, my hands nearly burnt from the fresh heat of the stone brick oven they got. The aroma of the wings and the heat from the pizza had clogged my nose while I wiped drool off my face the whole time home. Give it a shot if you a local.

Parking: The metered parking ends after a certain time turning into street parking. You have to back in at an angle on a busy street if you go during rush hour!“

So are the the cocktails and the smashburgers. I got the sausage and eggplant pizza last night. It was good but it could have used more salt.“

But what I will say is I spoke to the owner regarding. he did right by myself and my husband on this visit. My husband said that the wrap was the best he has had since he moved to Md and my sub was just as I remembered delicious. not sure what needs to happed to keep the consistency going but they are and have been the best in town for years.
