“Absolutely Delicious – Best Fish Sub Around! I can’t say enough good things about East Drive Kitchen! I stopped in on a whim and decided to try their fish sub—and WOW. Hands down one of the best fish subs I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The bread was fresh and soft, and the toppings were just right—not too much, not too little. You can tell they take pride in their food. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast, even during the lunch rush. If you’re in the area and craving something satisfying, do yourself a favor and get the fish sub. You won’t regret it. I’ll definitely be back!“

First off, the young gentleman at the front was the friendliest and most personable person I've ever met at any restaurant. He got us waters and menus and made small talk with us. We got the garlic knots. UPC sampler and a whole pepperoni. Everything was soooooo good!! We had so many leftovers too! What a great find!! “Ok so I’m soo late at writing my reviews. I initially came the first time based off reviews and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The food and service I received was amazing. He recognized I was a new customer and made my experience feel so personal. So I came back 2 nights ago because of that experience and I remembered I didn’t do a review the first time and just remembered just now, there pizza I got was so good pepperoni and mushroom well done was so good and Rich. And this time I tried the buffalo wings hot, well done and those were also very delicious. You won’t be disappointed, I promise. I waited no more than about 12 mins each time.“

The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

We’ve lived in Elkridge on the east end of HoCo for 25 years and our local joints have just fallen off lately so i went in search of a new place to get good pizza. I love good pizza. This place has great crust, it’s crispy and chewy just like it’s supposed to be. The ratio of sauce and cheese and toppings was just right too. “One of the leaders from an online Skool community suggested we finally meet in person, and he picked Philly's Best because he grew up just a couple of blocks away. He called it an old neighborhood dive, and those are usually my favorite kinds of recommendations.

I'm happy to report it didn't disappoint.

The young lady at the counter was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the food was cooked fresh instead of being rushed out the door. I went with one of the paninis, and it was excellent. Honestly, based on what I saw coming out of the kitchen, I don't think you'd go wrong with much of anything on the menu.

Inside is fairly small, but that's part of the charm. It's clearly a well-loved neighborhood spot, and there was a steady stream of customers coming in and out while we were there. Despite the constant flow, they kept things moving quickly without making you feel rushed.

There's also a community pool right next door, which explains why this place stays busy. Swimming has a funny way of making people hungry, and this is a perfect spot to refuel afterward. If the weather's nice, there are a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy your meal as well.

These are the kinds of places I love finding. No gimmicks, no trying to be trendy, just good food, friendly people, and a neighborhood restaurant that's earned the loyalty of the people around it. If you happen to be in the Columbia area, it's definitely worth swinging by.“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. The Dive is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood“

Our experience is really centered on the early evening, and that’s where things feel a bit different from the late-night buzz the place is known for. During happy hour it’s usually surprisingly quiet, which makes it easy to grab a table but also feels unexpected given how popular the restaurant becomes later. The “Locals Only” concept is clever, but despite visiting pretty regularly around that time, we don’t quite feel recognized as locals—something that could make the theme feel more meaningful. The music can also be louder than you’d expect for 5–6pm. Still, even with those quirks, we keep coming back for one very simple reason: the food is excellent.“
