“Six of us had a scrumptious dinner at the Village Inn last night. We had the famous duck entree and it was delicious! With cocktails before dinner, cozy rooms in which to spend the night, and pastries and coffee this morning, we could not have had a nicer visit. Kate is a wonderful host and the ambience there is New England Inn at its best. I highly recommend it.“

“Morgan M Gave ua great service. We came in right at a 2:30 rush of christmas shoppers. Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time. “My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! Keep up the great work!“

“Walked in on a Saturday night from the brewery next store and it felt like we stumbled on a hidden gem. Sat at the bar and ordered a la cart from the menu, but everything was absolutely perfect. The cocktails were delicious, ordered two starters, the oysters and the seared mushrooms. The oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m not much of an oyster person, but the seared mushrooms were out of this world, I would eat them for every meal if I could. Then we got the streak and fettuccine and they were also out of this world. To top it all off was this acoustic guitar musician adding beautiful music to the entire experience. If I could come back and do the chefs table I would in a heartbeat.“

MY FAVORITE!!!Vegetarian options: Lot's of choices for the non- meat eaters.Dietary restrictions: They offer tasty variations of all sorts.Parking: If the street parking is full, it's a simple loop around the back of the building to get a great parking spot with access to the back door. You will have a short flight of stairs to descend, so the rear entrance is not handicap accessible for chairs or walkers (however) the front entrance is handicap accessible.Kid-friendliness: It's simply a wonderful family friendly atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance provides easy access for anyone with a wheelchair or a walker.“

“Pretzel with beer cheese was awesome. Wife had the Ashley sandwich and I had the Dunkin Doug, both were great and filling. Good music great staff.Parking: Gravel lot for parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a gravel lot with pavement in the front of the building with a ramp.“

“Amazing people running an amazing business. Some of the better Greek food around, always good for some baklava and gyros. I personally like their pizza cold more than hot but altogether good food. Not the greatest place to eat in but if you're in need of some quality take out look no further.“

“I love lisa’s burritos, augusta and gardiner locations is always amazing. Their food is top tier, I travel 30 minutes every weekend to just come get their food and I’ve never been disappointed. The workers are always pleasant to deal with as well! ?“

“I love a good salad but they have a tendency of being boring. Not at Oakland House of Pizza!! So many to choose from!! My all time favorite is their Grilled Chicken Pesto Salad, sooooo much flavor that you don’t need dressing! This is my go to lunch establishment.“

My partner suggested we try somewhere new and we ended up at Kume!I can't say enough at how soft and fresh their fish options were!!Each of the pieces of sushi I tried was the best I've had in years!We have been back several times to try their Hibatchi and the chefs are always entertaining and kind! After half a dozen visits back, we still have no complaints!Hands down the best sushi I have had in the Waterville/Augusta area!“

“This was the best experience my husband and I have had at any chain restaurant ever! We’ve tried all the others around and have had some not so good experiences, idk why it took us so long to try this place but I’m pleasantly surprised and glad we did!The food was amazing and came out so fast compared to other places that it was almost hard to believe! I hadn’t even finished my appetizer yet and our main dishes were being served! The selection of veggies was by far my favorite part, I got the brussels sprouts and the asparagus and they were both delicious. I also tried the strawberry margarita and got the ‘long pour’ which comes with a shaker and I got 3 whole glasses out of it so you definitely get your moneys worth! I would recommend this place to anyone and it’s definitely worth trying if you’re on the fence about it like we were! This will be our new go to place for sure, can’t wait for the next visit. ?Vegetarian options: Large variety of salads and vegetables.“

“I always get a salad while deciding on what to eat. I should just order what I always order....the bourbon chicken and shrimp. It is always good the only thing i do not like is that the took the little red potatoes off the menu. I also wish they had a better selection of top shelf bourbons. Makers is not that top shelf.“
