“Stopped in for a quick beer on my way back from Portland and ended up staying for two. I tried the two sours available and enjoyed them both. Parking in the area is a bear but there's a public lot up the street next to the police department (ha) that offers 2 hours free parking...“
“I told them I’d leave a review and though I forgot for a while, I’m here to keep my promise.I told the chef, the food he served me was one of the tastiest things I’d eaten in a long while. The beer was also wonderful. And the 3 staff members I spoke with were all a pleasure to interact with.“
“Had the pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. Wicked good. Pepperoni pizza. Also really good. Only problem was they were slammed because of the winter carnival. But will definitely be back. Great place by the river. Bartender was a great guy.“
“Been coming a few times a year for about, what, 5 years now. This is always the first and most boozy stop for us in Maine. If you like bourbon, high ABV beers, actual flavor, and some dank vibes, this place is for you. The flights help to taper the high ABV so I can try things without loosing it too quickly. Best beer in Maine, and I’ve been to 16 breweries in Vacationland.“
“This was a great place to eat and drink in Old Orchard. The ambience was clean and relaxed. The bartender was friendly. Coming from California, we picked this place as our first lobster roll to try in Maine and it did not disappoint! The beer was pretty good and went well with the food.“
“It is our go-to local restaurant. A varied menu with some particular outstanding items...best fish & chips, poutine. When our vegetarian friends and family visit we always visit. Great assortment of their own beers. The large outdoor deck overlooking the Saco River is wonderful. Staff and management are the best!“
“We love! dog friendly Batson River Brewing! They also have an outposts in Portland and Wells but this spot was perfect after a beach day in Kennebunk! Staff was great! Family friendly and doggo friendly with food and craft cocktails for everyone. We will be back!“
“We ate there on St. Patrick’s day . We were seated upstairs and it was really nice and cozy . Service was great . We started with the onion ring appetizer. Delicious. We both had the corned beef dinner . It was a huge portion and really good . Fork tender ! Best I have ever had . The chef sent up 2 servings of mashed potatoes to us . The waitress said he felt the potatoes with the meal weren’t enough . They were but it was a really nice of him . Also delicious. Stout chocolate cake and an ice cream sandwich for dessert. Fabulous. Thanks for making our St. Patrick’s day so great . The food here is really outstanding.“
“Good service and good food. I've been here a few times and it's certainly a little different every time. We went on Monday so they had trivia starting at 6. Because of this it was a little rowdy, but a nice time overall.Parking: There are parking spaces right in front of the resteraunt, but it is also in a shopping center so you can always park near the grocery store and walk over if you really needed to.“
“OMG the waitress was incredible! We had a beer flight and she was out of one beer so she gave us a pumpkin spice with sugar and cinnamon on the rim, it was delicious. I had the Maine sampler (lobster roll, clam chowder, fries and blueberry cobbler)and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were delicious and we enjoyed the view of the boats docked while we ate. The waitress never forgot us, she checked to see if we needed anything and told us about local must sees. Well worth the trip.“
“Was in town to visit the University of NE, and went here with my gluten intolerant daughter. Absolutely fantastic beer, and had a great time talking to "Pidge" about all things beer, Biddeford & Maine. I could not tell the beer was gluten free - it tasted THAT good. One interesting bonus: after having a couple, I did not get that "full belly" feeling from regular beer. I may have brought some home with me :)“
