“Oh how lucky we were! Our first choice for dining fell through, closed when claimed to be open. Oh well, our son happened to see the folks dining here through the window and popped in, they could take the three of us right now. Wife and I had to hustle from several blocks away. Having walked in with zero expectations, we were surprised to see how full and vibrant the place felt. Our server was fantastic and walked us through several of the menu options. Needless to say, it was all amazing. We feel lucky to have been able to dine here. Best meal in Portland.”

“Standard Baking Co. is one of those Portland spots that’s always worth stopping into. The breads and pastries are consistently excellent, everything feels fresh, and there’s usually something new to tempt you at the counter. It can get busy, but the quality makes it worth it. Definitely a great place to grab a pastry, loaf of bread, or something quick while you’re downtown.”

The food was so delicious that I actually found myself wishing I could get the recipes to make the dishes at home later. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it was one of the most unique and flavorful sandwiches I’ve ever had. Every bite was incredible. My friend ordered the steak and cheese, and it must have been amazing because she ate every last bite of it without hesitation! The staff deserves special recognition as well. They were excellent, kind, and especially patient with my service dog in training, who is only five months old. Their understanding and welcoming attitude made the whole experience even better. Overall, this was a wonderful first visit, and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!”

“We have been occasional diners since Leluco opened, and it’s always been a lovely treat. This year we also decided to trust them with our Thanksgiving meal, and they did not disappoint! Our 1.5 turkeys were amazingly prepared, lovingly packed, and easy to reheat. Our friends and I are not sure if we’ve ever had a more delicious bird. “Outdoor patio is not enclosed (but there are heaters). Not sure why they would allow reservations on a night when the temp in the single digits. They were able to get us a table inside within 10 minutes. Beer is good if you like bitter, hoppy beer (I don’t). Our pizza was great and we also ordered a pretzel. Service was fine. Would come back for the pizza. Salads looked good”

You can sit in the cafe, which is a living room converted, and look out at one of the most incredible ocean views on this side of the country, while enjoying naked pine wood interior, kind workers, delicious treats and sandwiches, lemonade, coffee, and tea. I am so used to the hustle and hustle of being in a big city, that the hospitality and intimacy of this place overwhelmed me.”

“We timed our visit right and it happened to be Polish weekend. We enjoyed several well thought out themed plates and washed them down with a Grodziskie. Can't recommend this place more. Their IPAs absolutely rip and their Minimum series is the best low ABV hops you'll find anywhere.”

“We wandered in today and sat at the bar. We were so impressed with both the service and the food. The bartender was cordial, friendly, and extremely attentive. We had a flatbread that was absolutely delicious and chicken, bacon ranch salad with house made ranch that was exceptional. Closer than any. We don’t have a flatbread company near our home sure wish we did.”
