Pan seared Halibut with roasted veggies and Parmesan Risotto Was perfecto! 14oz rib eye with scallop potatoes and roasted veggies was cooked to perfection. “We wanted Italian tonight and was pleased to find Cartellis North End right in Dover. Service was great. You can actually see the kitchen from anywhere you sit. Even though the place is small and noisy, the atmosphere was quaint and the food was delicious. I heard they give large portions, so we ended up each ordering appetizer and splitting an entree but still brought some home. Loved the spinach/artichoke dip. The chicken wings looked delicious but the penne vodka with shrimp dish was wonderful. Thanks for being so close to home and bedtime wishes to expand some day soon.“

“The food is great. It is a gas station, so the eating area is very limited. Staff is friendly, however, some seem oblivious of customers eating in the small lounge, because two employees, one was end of shift I assumed, stopped in front of the drink dispenser talking about their IRL money and life situations. The awareness of customers at their workplace was ZERO. Even stepping out into the truckstop/convenience store environment, they kept their conversation going like they were in their livingroom. It wasn't quiet, which is why I write this. I just wanted to enjoy my tasty sub, which it was.“

“Would give it an (overall) 5 rating and 4 (food) rating given a little more sauce on the pasta, and WAY less salt on the bread rolls - which I cannot even eat without scraping first. Regular stop for the wife and I for Spaghetti with Meatballs and sometimes, Sausages. With the Meat Sauce, a very tasty meal for the price, though I believe the portions of the sauce have been reduced recently, lowering it's value as well. All meals come with a choice of soup or salad, I choose the salad regularly (lettuce, tomato, onion and croutons, Italian dressing and optional fresh grated cheese). The tiramisu is to die for and the wine (Red Blend) very nice at the price.“

“This place is honestly great! Great service great food, and hot and fresh!!! I got the chicken ranchero sub, I took out the ham because I don’t like ham all that much, but then I added pineapple too it, made the sandwich so much better, there is also bacon and lettuce tamatos, and cheese on it!! 100/10“

“The fried dough was warm and deeeelicious! Better than the boardwalk dough I've had in the past (which was tasty). The person who served my daughter and i, surprised my daughter by decorating the fried dough with a birthday message with candy on it! I enjoyed the pistachio cannoli. I’ve never had pistachio flavored but i thought it was good! The cream was a bit smoother than traditional cannoli filling, but i was fine with that. The person who served us had a kind smile, was polite and thoughtful. The place is small but no one was there at the time and i was just getting treats to take with me home. The price seemed high for me but i take into account the location of this business (portsmouth is not the most affordable for rent/real estate), not to mention the cost of ingrediants that go into the items sold. I am going to go back again when i can!“
