The Dockside Grill Reviews
Great atmosphere and views.
My wife and I went to the Dockside Grill to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had a swordfish dinner that was on the specials while my wife had a salmon dish. Both were very good!!! We finished our meal by sharing a heated blueberry crisp a la mode. Our server was very pleasant and kept our glasses of water filled and was timely on our drinks. The setting, not surprisingly, was tremendous as we had a beautiful summer evening to look out on the boats on their moorings. ...read full review
We have been there many many times, and sit at the bar for a drink & food . Last evening we did our usual routine sat at the bar ordered a drink. The place was not busy at all when we were there. U fortunately the 3 bartenders were more like robots than humans, barely spoke to us, none of them were friendly and didn’t smile once. It wasn’t due to ‘being so busy’.

The Dockside Grill is a restaurant located near I295, making it a convenient stop for travelers. With a nautical wood theme and a great view of the ocean through its many windows, the atmosphere can feel somewhat lacking in warmth, but the friendly service and easy parking make up for it. The menu features a variety of dishes, including oysters, lobster rolls, and salmon BLTs. The oysters come with a separate charge for bread, cocktail sauce, and horseradish, which some may find excessive. Recent reviews highlight the delicious Caesar salad with scallops, the Bang Bang Shrimp, and the chowder, all of which lived up to the hype. The food is decent, with standout dishes like the Mushroom Risotto and the Lobster Grilled Cheese. While some customers noted that service could be a little slow when the restaurant is busy, the overall experience is positive. The Dockside Grill is a great option for a meal, especially for those looking for a convenient stop while traveling.
