“My wife and I went to the Dockside Grill to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had a swordfish dinner that was on the specials while my wife had a salmon dish. Both were very good!!! We finished our meal by sharing a heated blueberry crisp a la mode. Our server was very pleasant and kept our glasses of water filled and was timely on our drinks. The setting, not surprisingly, was tremendous as we had a beautiful summer evening to look out on the boats on their moorings. All in all, I highly recommend the Dockside as a great place for a nice meal.“

“I’ll start by saying we were a walk-in and waited outside in the rain. A little doubt crossed our minds. Luckily, it was quickly proven to be a phantom. Would give 10/10 stars if I could. Absolutely excellent experience. The food was delicious, interesting, and classic somehow all at once (and I’m a snob). We had the lamb special and it was otherworldly. The cocktails were incredible. The service was attentive but not too much so (shoutout Grayson). Loved it and will definitely be back if we come back to Portland. Would wait outside in the rain for 30 + minutes in a heartbeat for those mussels and Grayson again.“

“Best food I ate in Portland all week (including upscale places) was the lobster bisque from Chef Ryan. Oysters were GREAT as well. Family friendly. Chef Ryan’s whole menu was top notch and the kitchen staff was so nice. Ty came up and offered to give my young kids a lobster lesson over FaceTime (was here for work). Lizzy was excellent at the bar for our group. Ashley was amazing and welcoming to our group. Couldn’t recommend more. But def order the menu items and not just the lobster!“

“We have been occasional diners since Leluco opened, and it’s always been a lovely treat. This year we also decided to trust them with our Thanksgiving meal, and they did not disappoint! Our 1.5 turkeys were amazingly prepared, lovingly packed, and easy to reheat. Our friends and I are not sure if we’ve ever had a more delicious bird. I am a regular at the Scarborough commissary throughout the summer and this was my first time visiting the Portland location. The staff all said hello to me with a smile and conversation and had no problem packing a few rolls for me to go! Great staff and always consistent food!“

“This is a seafood market/ restaurant. You order food at the outside window and they call your number when food is ready. They have steamed lobsters, lobster rolls, crab rolls, various kinds of fried seafood. I had the lobster roll this time and my husband had the haddock chowder. His chowder was great. My sandwich was good but I prefer their steamed lobsters, which I have had on previous trips. The sandwich was expensive but comparable to other places. You sit outside at picnic tables with umbrellas overlooking looking the bay that is beautiful! I highly recommend eating outside for the view.“

When I asked if the chef could add a garnish of pine nuts to the Fettuccine Alfredo and spinach, he obliged me and toasted them perfectly.
