“The food was delicious. Our table ordered chicken tenders, a cheese pizza, an athenian pizza (pictured), and a meatball grinder. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The french fries were perfect. I look forward to returning. The only small downfall was the service was a bit slow; but it won’t keep me from going back.Parking: Plenty of on-site parking on the side and around the back of the building.“
“I only have one visit to base this opinion on so far, but we stopped here to grab a takeout sandwich, because Shaws down the road had nothing. We opted for a full-size Italian sandwich each. It seemed to take a while, but we were in no particular hurry so that was fine. The onions and other veggies weren't sliced as thin as I like it, but since a favorite place of mine closed down many years ago, I have yet to find a place that slices thin. But the sandwiches were great and we woofed them down while driving home. The amount of sandwich filling was generous and the right amount of oil was used. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again when we are in the area.“
“Beautiful dining experience with great service. Unfortunately, they ran out of the plate I had chosen to order. However, my second choice was very good. With all that said, it was a little pricey. At the price point, there are some better options, including their other restaurants.“
“The atmosphere was nice, 70s music in the background, at just the right volume. Service was perfect. Good selection of beverages (something for everyone), and the food delicious. This restaurant has the local feel. It’s cozy and friendly. We will definitely make this one of our regulars.Vegetarian options: We enjoyed the sampler platter, the Grecian, and the baked eggplant.“
“I just want to say how much I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing ALWAYS! Fair pricing! And the atmosphere I adore every single person that works here! Everyone is so amazing and so kind! I couldn’t find one bad thing to say about romeos! Love Love Love everything about this place! 10/10 recommend “
“The Great Impasta is a quaint little place just as you get to the Main Street block of buildings when coming from Topsham. It looks to have a nice outdoor patio during the summer. My group went on a Wed night, and I was surprised at how busy it was, however we got right in due to the fact that I called in the morning to put our names on the wait list. They only take reservations ahead of time for parties of 6 or more. The friendly staff was very good at keeping customers moving, but we did not feel rushed. Parking is limited on the side of the restaurant, but there are some spots in the back. The food was good, but they didn't make their own pasta. The garlic knots, though, are to die for!!! Large servings allow you to get 2 meals out of your evening. They also seemed to have a busy door dash/takeout clientele.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free products were on the menuWheelchair accessibility: There were no steps to get into or around the restaurant, but seating is somewhat tight to navigate around.“
“Amazing service and exceptional employees working at night on a foggy Tuesday evening. Sandwiches were delicious! After my dad and I had a rough go at a local market and café in Boothbay Harbor I decided to have us go to Amato's because they never disappoint with stellar service. Always a great choice, we thank your whole staff for making our day! :)“
“I always have a great meal here. For desert, the flourless chocolate cake with the Quinto port is a perfect pairing.Parking: Parking in the rear. Steep hill or stairs to front door.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs at front entrance and very wide doors.“
