“Food and beer were both awesome. Stopped in on a whim and we were not disappointed. Will definitely be back in the future. We stopped in on Hallowell's Mardi Gras celebration. Really recommend the beer cheese soup, it's to die for.“
“This was the first time here this season. It was windy and a little chilly. The course has a few places that need some grass to regrow. The greens were in really good shape. The pond is full, so stay out of that. The periscope on #7 is handy to see where your ball lands down near the green. I did par both par 3 holes...exciting for me.They have a good selection of beers and liquor. Also, they have a nice menu available. They often have live music. They have an indoor simulation golf machine available throughout the year. The new back deck is great for sitting and watching as golfers finish the 9th, 18th holes. You can see mountains off in the distance, and the sunsets can be spectacular.“
“We went to the Pub tonight based on a friend's review of the wings. He spoke so highly of their wings we couldn't pass it up. The food was amazing but, more importantly, our waitress, Danielle Albert, went above and beyond to make our visit perfect. She was friendly, personable, and accommodated our Nascar wish. The food was great, the staff even greater. We will continue to give our business to The Fat Toads Pub. Thanks so much for a great experience!“
“While waiting to get in to the Swine & Stein fest, it was pouring so my date and I popped in here. I'm newly local, he's not, neither had been here. Grabbed a table and was immediately greeted by a server. Plenty of TVs for sports. Nice rustic atmosphere and tables large and small to accommodate your party size. We ordered drinks and apps and both were delicious. Never felt rushed to leave. Service was impeccable without being pushy. Bathroom was clean but only single use. So unless there's another one I'm not aware of, could pose a wait on a busy day/night. I'll be back for sure. Got a great vibe from this place and I'm interested to try more menu items. See you for football Sunday“
“I thoroughly enjoy myself every Thursday karaoke night not just because of the entertaining crowd of regular singers, the DJ's the whiskey kitchen has Hired on a regular basis are Wonderful individuals as well with a nice little stage that is usually a utilized for seating. The owner Brian is a down to earth sweet soul that does his best to ensure a comfortable environment and even will socialize when he's not too busy. The staff are a great crew behind the bar and in the kitchen the Mac and cheese is superior to any chain restaurant which should be expected of a locally owned establishment I haven't had a bad meal or cocktail/drink in all of my visits at the whiskey kitchen. I enjoy the rustic wooden look of the restaurant that gives a saloon vibe with a modern twist even when I go without friends I feel comfortable and ready for a good time at this bar/restaurant.“
“Amazing service, and such a kind wait staff! Ashley was our server and we realized after ordering that we left our credit card at home. We had some cash, and the manager made sure that we were able to afford our meal. They were so great and understanding of our situation.“
“After 8P you can't enter through Water street, and parking is very limited on Front St. The bartender was excellent and they had a good variety of drink choices. I don't believe they serve food(?), I didn't see any menu. The atmosphere is quirky with a low key, relaxed vibe. The layout was confusing, with very little traffic flow. It had a large couch area only 2-3 people could enjoy at a time. 3 tables could easily have been added instead, opening up the back area where a pool table is hidden. They had a live band & some cleared space to dance, but no one really did. The band was ok, not good but trying. Someone should have told them turning up the sound doesn't make you better... it just amplifies the bad. The band also basically told people to leave, so we did! They have a nice outside area with good lighting, in case you vape, smoke, or are waiting on a ride.Wheelchair accessibility: Not handicap accessible unless you can use crutches. If you were in the middle open area it would be dangerous if there was a fire in the front where the band & their electrical is. No idea why the band is at the entrance & the pool table is hidden behind the couch, but if I were in a manual wheel chair I would be cautious.“
