“We’ve been here a few times, and it’s consistently good. No fuss, great food with a large menu and delicious cocktails. Sit on the rooftop for a lovely of downtown, or by a fire pit to get cozy. Service can be so so, long wait for drinks or semi attentive wait staff, but we would still return. Great spot to grab a drink and relax before or after a more formal dinner!!“

“We stopped at Mikes for Breakfast as we met up with some friends. It was a buzy place and the waiter was great. Our Meal had some issues with delivery of what we ordered is not what we got. We were told that they had some new staff training in the kitchen and should of had someone overseeing them before the food left the kitchen. For the price that they charge should of been delivered a little different than what we got.“

“I’ve heard about Garden Street Bowl for a few years now, but tried it for the first time last night. Wow! What great food we had. Shrimp Pad Thai bowl for me and chicken lo mein for my husband. We shared and both agreed we’d picked the best dishes on the menu. Can’t wait to return.“

“The Pilot House came in a very close second to Mabel’s Lobster Claw — and that says a lot! The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the lobster roll with clam chowder, and both were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the baked crusted haddock and loved every bite, and my mother-in-law had the fish tacos, which were just as good.

The atmosphere has that classic small-town coastal feel — casual, welcoming, and full of local charm. What makes it even better is the history tied to this place. The building originally stood as part of Kennebunkport’s old railroad era and was later turned around on its lot in the 1970s. It sits beside the Spirit of Massachusetts, a 19th-century schooner that nods to the town’s rich maritime past. Between the amazing food, friendly service, and a little piece of local history, The Pilot House is a spot we’ll absolutely return to. Five stars all the way!“

“Food came out quickly. Waitress was efficient. The nachos were really good and the Key Lime Pie dessert martini was delicious. Bathrooms needed cleaning, both men and women's were kind of gross. Women's was super sticky floors and I saw a few bugs on the floor in both bathroom and main dining area.“

“My family and I have been eating at Mekhong Thai Kennebunk since 1992. due to the nature of my employment, I have had the opportunity to not only taste the cuisines of Thai restaurants across the United States, but I’ve also had the pleasure of eating at Thai restaurants across Thailand. In my hundreds of dining adventures, there is no restaurant comparable to my Mekhong Thai Kennebunk. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is impeccable. I checked, and the new owners are actually family of the previous owners. The menu has been relatively unchanged, and I actually feel it has been improved. “We had no idea the bowl in the title was actually the activity- we stopped in and thought that it must be an enormous bento shop and were pleasantly surprised to find a lively community gathering that was serving excellent food and drinks. The trivia game was also fun for everyone in the family.“

“We hosted our wedding welcome party here, and it was absolutely perfect! Federal Jacks us to rent out the outdoor deck, which overlooked Dock Square and offered the most beautiful views of downtown Kennebunk, such a stunning setting to kick off our wedding weekend.

Luke was wonderful to work with, he helped us select a great variety of appetizers, and he was so accommodating, even allowing us to bring in our own decor to make the space feel personal and special. The food was delicious, the bar service was spectacular, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved the atmosphere.

It was the perfect blend of coastal charm, great food, and warm hospitality and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start our wedding celebration!“

“OMG the waitress was incredible! We had a beer flight and she was out of one beer so she gave us a pumpkin spice with sugar and cinnamon on the rim, it was delicious. I had the Maine sampler (lobster roll, clam chowder, fries and blueberry cobbler)and hubby had the fish and chips. Both were delicious and we enjoyed the view of the boats docked while we ate. The waitress never forgot us, she checked to see if we needed anything and told us about local must sees. Well worth the trip.“

“We are on vacation from NC, came in Sunday night unpacked and googled for something quick and easy for dinner. We decided to try Kennebunk House of Pizza. And it did not disappoint! The pizza was excellent. We got the House special--delicious! And order of fried wings and a side of fries--fried perfectly! Then I saw the baklava...grabbed 3 of those to have for breakfast with our coffee. Also delicious! We will likely be back before we leave. Couldn't recommend it more!“
