About Via Sophia by the Sea
Via Sophia by the Sea Reviews
We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary last evening at Via Sophia. We had wonderful meals, delicious Italian wine, dessert came back to the hotel with us so we could digest dinner a bit. Emily is a very attentive but unobtrusive waitress. She is knowledgeable about the menu and we enjoyed talking with her as plates were brought to or taken from the table. Her suggestions were spot on. And we enjoyed the modern yet intimate decor of the restaurant.
We really loved our meal there this past July. Can I just say, I wish I knew how to make the Capiche cocktail…by far the best one I’ve had!
Our dinners were delicious, and overall it was a really nice experience. I haven’t been in the restaurant since Grizzini’s, and I miss the more Tuscan vibe, but we will definitely go back.
Amazing restaurant and atmosphere, the chicken dish was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life.

Menu
Via Sophia by the Sea is a delightful restaurant with a great atmosphere. The menu features creative dishes, including the Halibut Gnocchi Clam Chowder, duck breast, blackened salmon, and lobster ravioli with scallops and lobster meat, all prepared to perfection. The service is friendly and attentive, with knowledgeable staff, such as Emily, who is praised for being very attentive. While prices may be a bit higher than average, the overall experience, highlighted by the terrific ambiance and cozy fire, is well worth it. However, some guests have noted that the portions can be small, which may affect the overall satisfaction.
