“What a gem we found! Casa 77 was a surprise to my wife and I. Just out for a drive on a cloudy day in Maine we could never imagine such a quaint restaurant sitting on the docks. Walking in we found a pub reminiscent of an old seashore tavern. The menu is small and simple! The fisherman empanadas were full and tasty! The fish and chips my wife ordered were amazing making me jealous I got the burger, but I wasn't disappointed! The flavors danced on our tongues like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever! We highly recommend it but trust us when we say come during the winter because this place I am sure is slammed during the summer! This will be our go to when visiting Kennebunkport!“

“Very good. Wells Maine in winter means many closed restaurants. This bar and grille area s definitely a locals place. We started with an order of Wagyu sliders, that were very very good. They had bacon, melted cheese and mayo on them each and came with three in the order. Then we split the grilled chicken salad, which was a basic fresh mixed green salad with a few tomatoes, a few cucumber slices, some croutons, and very small amount of shredded cheese. Dressings tasted like they were out of a bottle, but they were good. We especially liked the waitress. No nonsense and great service. We could also see what seemed to be the manager, replenishing tables, cleaning up, and helping out wherever needed. Well, it wasn't exactly fine dining, we really did like the place. I believe their lobster roll would have been great, but we've already eaten enough lobster this week. I'd go back there.“

“Came here for a quick lunch while visiting Ogunquit as "Beach Fire" was allegedly one of the top rated restaurants in town. It was a bit difficult to find parking on a busy Sunday afternoon, but we found a spot and headed in. The service was average, nothing to write home about. We were seated with five minutes of our arrival and the whole dining experience took close to 45 minutes total, which was standard. I'm not much of a seafood girl, so I opted for the "Rancher" sandwich which came with smoked chicken, bacon bits, melted cheese, mixed greens, tomato, and ranch. The smoked chicken was flavorful, but I would have preferred it to be just a simple slab of grilled chicken with pepper instead, because the smokiness was very overpowering. The homemade ranch, however, was extremely delicious and I yearned for a bottle to take home with me. The mixed greens added color and texture to the sandwich, which was appreciated. I also opted for a side of baked beans, which were delicious and had a bit of BBQ tang to them. Overall, the sandwich was decent but pretty messy, so make sure to have napkins nearby! We also ordered lobster rolls which sold at a market price of $29, which stood close to average for New England this season (I believe the range is $25-35). It was very tasty and fresh, but would have been served better warm instead of cold. The portion was fair, though the side dishes were bigger than the main course (as pictured). The fries were so-so, but the side caesar was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had in my life. Beach Fire clearly knows how to do their dressings. Overall, I left satisfied and ready to take on Ogunquit!“

“We were so pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t much left in town, we bit the bullet and hoped for the best. This place is old as many mention, but very well kept. Great location. If you like exercise, the gym is very large with lots of free weights. You do have to share with the locals as it’s the local health club, but not crowded. The rooms were clean and quaint. We had a spa tub, fireplace, and balcony.“
