“They were out of the most exciting things on the menu (to me), the Pork Belly and Wings but the staff was fantastic, attentive and friendly but not obtrusivley so. We sat downstairs, which had a lovely atmosphere. There are high ceilings, history on the walls and an open dining area. There was enough space between the tables for privacy and easy mobility throughout. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. All in all I would repeat the experience and would recommend it. The steak tips were succulent and delicious.“

“Just had an amazing dinner at Walkers Maine in Cape Neddick! Our waitress Brook was fantastic, helping us navigate the delicious menu. We started with complimentary bread & oil, then devoured fried oysters. I enjoyed the short rib kofta with zucchini & German potato salad, while my friend savored the salmon entree. For dessert, we had to try the in-house-made sarsaparilla-glazed donuts & ice cream. Everything was top-notch!“

“We were there tonight and I would recommend everything! Food was delicious, portions where huge, prices were fair, service was excellent and seating was comfy. I had been here only once, many years ago and while I was disappointed that the steak tip salad was no longer on the menu, I ordered what turned out to be the best shrimp & pasta pesto I've ever had. My husband also loved his baked haddock. We plan to go back soon and while I'd love to try some other menu items...I'm already craving that pesto! (only thing missing was a dinner roll...because Italians always eat with a fork in one hand and bread in the other to soak up all the excess sauce!)“

“We went to The Nook for the first time today and it was great! The food was wonderful but the staff was perhaps even better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and it was a very welcoming atmosphere, even with two (often loud) toddlers. I was very impressed!“

“A rare gem. Huge portions. The freshest of ingredients. Yes, they offer a Vegan special. Even better, the taste, very special. Within ten minutes, we had 4 different people check on how we were doing. We were in a rush to make the theater. They handled that very well too. A truly special place. “I only give five stars after the experience on Saturday. The night before I dined in, I already was having lousy service through out my stay, started with no napkin wrapped utensils (this came _after_the entree) water had to be asked explicitly after ordering a White Russian, the meal came out OK. I ordered a desert to go and walked back to my hotel to only realize i didn’t ask for them resulting me in already a difficult couple days to be worse to the point I’m breaking down in public the hysteria bounced off the buildings. By the time I turned to the alley corner by the 110, I automatically regained composure I walk back in - hostess wasn’t to be seen, but a waitress named Lydia answered me at the door remembering me from my visit almost a year ago. I explain what happened and after addressing it I told her “you made my day” she told me she’d be in all day on Saturday so I go to the bar and expierence was literally night vs day. She earned the twenty-five-pct extra on the check. Keep Lydia there at all costs she’s a special person in customer service when many places in the port city seemed to be lacking that of late.“

It actually made my taste buds dance! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Staff is top-notch.“

“The cleanest hotel I have ever had!! perfect view, balcony and all. Premium feel, great value, mini fridge, premium coffee maker, water pot, compost and recycling, new linen, brand new towels and blankets. Receptionist was polite, staff were cordial and warming. “Local’s has become one of my favorite places to eat on the seacoast! Wings are amazing, drinks are excellent, beer is cold and the pizza is out of this world. Don’t sleep on the salad because they have some real gems. Philly egg rolls are my favorite app too. The best quality is how friendly they are and it truly is a local vibe. I had my mother’s mercy meal there and everything was done with care and to perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate her life. “Excellent food and drinks! A fun spot to go for martinis. I've lived in the area for over 4 years and hadn't stepped in until last night. The pecan crusted chicken is SO TASTY. I would order that again in a heartbeat. We also had the buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was crispy and hot and the sweet potato fries were a nice accompaniment. They also brought out rolls with strawberry butter.

I tried 2 martinis, the grapefruit cosmo and the lemon drop (but I switched the blueberry vodka to raspberry vodka). Both were really good.

The place is split into 2 sections. The right side is the bar, which was packed and we weren't able to get a spot there. The dining room area to the left is a little bit quieter.“

Every item we ordered was perfect, waiter was wonderful, atmosphere and music were inviting and they have a great menu! Do yourself a favor and just go and make sure you order some wings! I also tried their Drink special of the night margarita with Shipyard blueberry beer, so good! Our waitress was awesome, full of personality and very knowledgeable of the menu. “Visited Fury’s for a private event. The food was put together wonderfully and deliciously and everyone was very attentive to our needs. My cocktail as perfect. I remember these old mills (Clarostat) when I was a young girl and I was pleasantly surprised to see how they’ve been transformed! There’s an outdoor deck with picnic tables on the water. If I ever cruise back thru Dover again I would definitely make it a stop to eat and enjoy a cocktail.“
