“This place is really a hidden gem, I have been in the food industry 18 years and I am kinda fussy when it comes to food. Well I am here to tell you the fried fish here has to be the best around. Not to mention the pizza is fantastic and a favorite of mine the poutine. Another popular item by the locals is “Lisa’s famous fried clams” those are also vary tasty. The staff is always friendly and the bar is always stocked. I definitely highly recommend.“

I wasn't exactly sure if I should wait to be seated, as the server was in a different room when I got there, but once I sat down he came back in and his service was pretty good. Very chill and welcoming. The food itself is a little expensive for what they offer, but not terrible. The menu is super small. As in one side of one page for food small. I tried the mac n' cheese. Without the pulled pork, the actual mac was very creamy and tasty. The pulled pork was ok, but it was a sourer bbq than I'm used to. They had college football on that I was able to watch which was cool.“

Breakfast is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME from the Biscuits and Sausage Gravy to the Pancakes and Bacon and they also have REAL MAPLE SYRUP to go with your breakfast. I have been coming here for about 40 years now and this place is still FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED and the Staff is ALWAYS FRIENDLY and COURTEOUS !!!! From the Sit down Truckers Oy Table to the General Public part of the restaurant this place is an absolute DIAMOND !!!!!!
The restrooms are what’s kept clean and well stocked and the Showers are older and could use an upgrade but they too are ALWAYS CLEAN and well Maintained !!!!!!
Just what a GOOD OLD FASHIONED TRUCKSTOP ISE TO BE AND STILL IS !!!!!! The big chain Truckstops could damn sure take a few lessons from the crew at DYSARTS !!!!!! And on the Second Shift they also have FULL SERVICE FUEL & GAS ISLANDS and I’m not sure if there are any others in the USA or if Dysarts is possibly the last one around !!!!!!“

“Stopped on the way back from Canada. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Full of chicken and veggies with a fantastic crust. Very light and flaky. My friend had the thanksgiving sandwich and she raved about it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint is that they do not have the Purple Pie anymore. It was a blueberry pie with a crumble crust and most of the proceeds went to help the Alzhiemer's Association. It was unbelievable!!“
