“We loved staying at the CLI. Rose is an amazing host, she did everything to make us comfortable and feel home. Beds are super comfy, the bathroom is well stocked and the room is spacious. For breakfast you can pick from savory or sweet and it is delicious. I would for sure stay there again if I return to the area.Food & drinks: Delicious and generous portions“
“Pleasant point is a peaceful retreat on the most pristine lake I have ever seen! The restaurant has amazing food and cocktails and has beautiful rustic decor. The furnishing and front porch of the in are welcoming, cozy and are exactly what you would hope for in a Maine lodge. Scott and Beth are such great hosts! We will definitely be back!“

“My wife and I came to visit Fryeburg for the fair but also managed to find this amazing restaurant. Everything from the oysters to the lobster was absolutely perfect. Our server was from our area Philly and she was super friendly and on point with our service. We will definitely be back.“

“🌸 A Toast to Life, Love, and Literature—at Stella’s on the Square! 🌸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Today, Stella’s on the Square wasn’t just a venue—it became a living, breathing storybook filled with laughter, tears, and love as we celebrated the extraordinary life of Cathy Cote (1967–2025). An aspiring author, a quiet storm of strength, and the kind of woman whose presence lingered long after she left the room. Her family turned the space into something magical. 💌 Pam read beautiful excerpts from Cathy’s unfinished book—words so heartfelt you could almost hear the pen still scribbling. 🛠️ Paul, her husband and emotional rock, was the embodiment of steady, supportive grace. 🎬 Crickett Cote, author and screenwriter, and chef extraordinare delivered moments of wit and warmth like a poetic stand-up act—honest, raw, and hilarious. 👧 And Darcy, Cathy’s youngest daughter, carried herself with quiet strength and glowing love, a reflection of her mother’s legacy wrapped in grace and soul. Cathy’s spirit filled every corner, whispering, “A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.” And wow—was it ever. 🎶 Live music swayed with the floral decor. 🍴 The food was “hug-your-chef” good. 🍸 The cash bar? Let’s just say it kindly turned tears into toasts. But Stella’s—oh, Stella’s! The staff weren’t just servers, they were part of the experience. They moved through the room with compassion and charm, making it feel like your favorite aunt’s living room (if your aunt happened to have impeccable taste and event-hosting superpowers). Every detail—every flower, every flicker of candlelight, every note of the music—was a love letter to Cathy. She may not have finished her book, but today, we all lived in the final chapter together. A chapter written in hugs, memories, and a little Chardonnay. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something—or someone—truly special, let Stella’s on the Square be the backdrop to your next unforgettable moment. ✨ Cathy would’ve adored this review. But more than that, she would’ve adored that so many showed up, laughed, remembered, and stayed a little longer than planned—just like she always did. #CelebrationOfLife #CathyCote #StoriesLiveOn #DarcyStrong #StellasOnTheSquareMagic #LiveLaughRemember“

“A diamond in the ruff for sure. Drove by and parking lot was full. Decided to turn around and give it a shot. Looked like an old general store. Great Food. Definitely will be making a stop back in soon. We had the ribs and seafood combo plate. With coleslaw, potato salad, onion rings and fries. All excellent. Well seasoned. Great flavors.“
