“Had a dinner there last night with the wife. Have been here a few times over the years and it continues to impress. Had the Ribeye and was cooked to perfection. Wife had she shrimp and scallops and said it was amazing and filling. The staff - Emma and Matt give you such a welcoming too. Highly recommend.“
“My go to spot in Bartlett. I had the chicken finger basket for lunch it was great. The fish and chips I had for dinner was perfect, thick golden crunchy beer batter. The fries and pizzas are great too. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers either! Great view of the mountain, good selection of beers. Great bartenders.“
“The menu's not overly sophisticated, but very much hearty and tasty. I had a delicious French Dip sandwich and my wife something called the Chicken Sink, both really tasty. They have lots of great meat entrees and top notch desserts. Add to that they're very much kids friendly, and it's a win win all the way.“
“We went for lunch. Our server was Paul. The nicest man. He ran to give me my jacket I left on the back of my chair. He also ran outside but we had gone because my friend left her credit card on the table. We turned around went back and Paul was so professional and sweet. He was so happy we came back to pick up the credit card. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was amazing. Nice and bright and clean.“
“We went here for an evening, 6 person, reservation dinner during the winter months. The food was great and so was the service. This time we (2 people) went just for appetizers at the bar, and the food and service were still just as good. I'd definitely recommend coming here, whether it be for dinner, desert or just a few drinks. You won't be disappointed.“
“A must for breakfast! I swear they knew we were coming and what we were having as the food came out minutes after we ordered! Hot & delicious. Irish omelette for me and my bride had the "Award Winning Monte Christo" buckets of coffee and we were a happy couple! About 4mi out of downtown N.Conway but worth the drive“
“Visited Winter 2024-hard working people in that shop. Came in 20 minutes before closing. The crew seemed ready for a well deserved nap but were still smiling and very helpful.-great place to stop for a quick breakfast or lunch-no public bathrooms“
“I wish there were 100 stars to give out! The Onion Rings are wonderful, not overly breaded like so many and they use giant Vadalia onions too. Every thing we tried was great - so great that out of the 4 days we were in town we ate there twice....we never do that while on vacation. Thank you Brian, Tim and Lyndsey for an awesome time each and every time.“
“Wow! What a place, what an experience! If you're cruising the North Country and you get hungry and you don't mind waiting a bit (35 minutes), head over to Intervale. Very cool vibe, awesome staff, great food. It was well worth the wait, a great time was had by all!“
“Our lunch experience at J-Town Deli Country Store was nothing short of exceptional! The Pesto Chicken wrap was a savory delight, bursting with flavor. The cozy ambiance added to the charm of our dining experience, making it a perfect break during our vacation in Jackson, NH.Beyond the delightful meal, the local country store was a treasure trove. We discovered unique gems like local kombucha and bottled water, enhancing our stay. The selection of local products was impressive, and we couldn't resist bringing home some souvenirs – local Maple Wine, Maple syrup, and Maple popcorn. Each item was a flavorful piece of Jackson to share with our family.J-Town Deli Country Store truly made our visit memorable, earning it a well-deserved 5-star rating. We look forward to returning and exploring more of the culinary delights this charming spot has to offer!“
“We love this restaurant, for the service, the staff, the ownership and the overall honest vibe of the restaurant. They serve both breakfast and lunch, all year round. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well. Have not been disappointed with any food or drink we have ordered. We have a larger family, seven in total. In addition to breakfast and lunch foods, they have an expansive coffee and espresso menu, including macchiatos, americanos, cappuccinos and espresso. All hot or over ice. They have different syrup and sauces flavors. They also offer milk alternatives including but not limited to oat milk, almond milk and soy milk. They also serve various flavored smoothies. Our favorites are mango, strawberry banana and piña colada. Staff and owner are very conscientious to allergies and accommodating when need be. Whether it be as simple as egg whites only, or to use oat or almond milk in a hot chocolate or so everyone can have milk. We have been eating at this restaurant for years now. We have seen a lot of staff and training over the years and it is wonderful to see the care and the patience the owner has towards her staff and customers alike. There have been times when they are short staffed but it doesn't matter because of how they all respond and respect the needs of the customers. It always feels good to go back to a place and they know exactly who you are. Just an amazing feeling. I will always recommend this restaurant to family and friends alike. P.S. our dog loves the dog bones thank you“
“Went with energetic 2 year old and felt welcome by staff and other diners. We all shared the ramen- excellent! Though recommend leaving off jalapeño which was not authentic or contributing anything to the dish, a chili oil on the side would have been an awesome alternative. The beef lettuce wraps were also delicious, the mustard was a bit overpowering to the point it was more of a hamburger lettuce wrap, I couldn’t notice the Korean marinade as much, which was what I’d really been looking forward to. Finally, we had the salmon with Brussels sprouts and rice, absolutely perfect, and served so hot we could still see the steam coming off till the last bite. The menu overall is so appetizing, I’d love to keep going back and try everything, great selection, quality ingredients, timely and polite service, comfortable atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: I was nervous to being a toddler in what seemed a bit fancier place from the outside (though she’s dined all over Europe and is quite used to the experience) but it was comfortable and welcoming, though I wouldn’t say aimed at families and kids.“
“Visited after the recent storm and was able to get delicious food (ramen was fantastic) and drinks, and was super appreciative of the free wifi since the cell towers were down from the storm. Great place to stop if you're headed through North Conway! Also looking forward to seeing the chef on Guys Grocery Games!“
“The pictures are correct, this place is kitschy as hell.. in the best way! We enjoyed looking at all the knick knacks along every wall and in every corner. So much personality! There was one server for the whole room (yes, it's a room, with a hand full of tables. Quite cozy. You'll get to know your neighbor ?) She did a phenomenal job! My only complaint is that the food had next to zero flavor. Presentation was nice though!“
“First restaurant we visited during our short stay in North Conway 2 weeks ago and the best. The cocktail (Trail Side Breeze) was perfect, the sandwich (River Runs Fish Melt) so good, the fries golden and delicious. Staff is awesome and the decor is a hoot. Even the menu presentation is fun. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return there when back in town.“
“Eagle Mountain House is a great place to relax and enjoy! Their staff are knowledgeable, friendly and courteous! The food is delicious! You can sit in the rocking chair and feel relaxation begin to take over. It’s an enjoyable place to be!“
“The service is quick and pleasant. Two small issues - the website photos show beautiful rare roast beef sandwiches but the rarest I've seen (even after asking pointedly for rare) was medium - tasty but way overcooked for my taste. My second issue is the very large amount of fried bits of breading included with the fried clams. The fried clams were excellent but it hurts to pay fried clam prices for fried breading. I still eat there but avoid the roast beef.“
“Great pub restaurant! Always have live music and consistent food. My favorite are the pizzas! I love the crust. Get there early on the weekends if you want to sit at the bar.Parking: When it's busy parking can be tricky. But, there is plenty of parking. It just gets full and tight.“
“I've been going here for years. The food, service, and atmosphere are always great. This particular night, the "homemade Mac & cheese" was not very flavourful. It was extremely cheesy but flavorless, as if water was added to make the cream sauce spread further. Service is always superb, and the atmosphere is always welcoming.“
“Party of 3 w a picky teen and 2 gluten free diners. GF pastrami w/o the marble rye, DELISH! Teen got chicken Caesar wedge, she liked it. High top table was a little wobbly, service was excellent our waitress was very personable and shared that her daughter worked there also, love this, the drinks were tasty (orange martini, and a mule) the price was a little on the high side but we left satisfied and would return! The waitress gave us some local tips and must sees to fill our empty day (snowmobiling got cancelled womp womp) and we went to the places she suggested, we were not disappointed! Thanks for a great experience!“
“Counter ordered, and it takes quite a while to get your order even when it's not busy. The food is worth the wait. I'm not sure why it takes so long. It could be just like everyone else, short staffed. The market and shop are very unique ?. It's a must visit.“
“We recently visited for thee first time. Had an awesome local draft stout, and my wife had a margarita, WE had an appetizer of parmesan garlic wings, which very good. Tasty and crispy! We each had the sirloin tips for our entree and both were fantastic. Service was spot-on even though the place was very busy, Live music by a gent playing guitar and harmonica and singing, The musician was very good and not overbearing loud. We will definitely go back when in the area.“
“We stayed at the Wildcat Inn for three nights and had dinner and drinks at the tavern one of the nights. The tavern has live music every Friday and Saturday and the atmosphere is great, though does close a bit early like most things in Jackson. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The nachos and chicken tenders were very tasty.“
“Another fabulous evening spent celebrating the creativity, food, service and atmosphere at THE. From the moment you walk through the door you feel welcome in the cozy space. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the dishes and the true farm to table, local, organic, method of preparation that goes into each bite. The menu is carefully crafted with what’s in season and uses the most local ingredients available. Tonight we had the artisanal cheeseboard (added chorizo, pesto and gluten free crackers) which we enjoyed with quince paste, whole grain mustard, pickled beets, cheddar, drunk Alice, and a blue. Perfect and just enough for 4. The farm fresh duck egg with polenta and tomato jam was cooked perfectly and a rich bite. We also had the roasted butternut squash and fennel soup which was velvety and smooth and the croutons offered a nice crunch! For entrees we had the homemade Creste di Gallo carbonara which was a light veggie forward version and delicious! We also had the chicken cacciatore over jasmine rice. The chicken was cooked perfectly and still moist with great flavor from the veg. For dessert we enjoyed a French press decaf, vanilla bean ice cream and the beignets with ALL the sauces! To die for! Our servers Zoe and Caitlin were wonderful, attentive but not hovering..it is an experience to dine here and we can’t wait to be back! Thank you Thompson House Eatery, Chef Jeff and family!“
“We stopped here on a whim on our way back to our home state and it definitely didn't disappoint. The decor is 100% cabin everywhere you look think if L.L. Bean had to fit into a restaurant. The food was so good we had burgers and they were both cooked to order and came out on metal meal trays which was cute and unique. Our 5yo son was with us and our waitress who we later found out was the owner was super sweet and made sure to speak directly to him which is a nice touch alot of people over look. We will go out of our way next time we are in NH to eat here again.“
