“1/27/24 first time here. I did read a bunch of reviews, so thanks to all. I did get a bit nervous about some of the food reviews.Four of us came here for dinner.So i got the jalapeno burger and that was decent.One of the guys bought the appetizer sampler for the table and that was really good, even though I'm trying to not eat fried food. I'll certainly recommend the appetizer sampler.They had a decent selection of beer. Service was good too.I'd say just be careful of what you order if you are nervous about the overall menu.Dietary restrictions: Bar food and beer.“
“Attention SKIERS!! Talk about a PERFECT way to end your day! We came once last year after a day on the mountain.. the Shepherd’s Pie was AMAZING! Real lamb, absolutely delicious! Came back after a great day on the mountain Sunday, excited to enjoy again.. in a last minute decision switch, I tried the Bangers and Mash… OMG… this is a dish you can’t help but close your eyes as you enjoy the party in your mouth! “Cute place with hearty food welcomed after a hike in the Squam Lake's Mount Percival and Mount Morgan loop trail. Service: friendly and super fast. Our food was out without 15 minutes of ordering Menu: We ordered the lobster mushroom bisque and French onion soup, burger with onion rings, fish and chips, zucchini bread, and garden salad to share. The bisque was thick and generous with chunks of lobster in the middle in some sort of sherry sauce- my favorite. The burger was juicy but not particularly tender, and the haddock was flaky and crisp. A bit disappointed there was only a thin breading on the fish but the fries were great. The zucchini bread was great as a app and as a small dessert!“

“Local tavern a short drive from Waterville ski area. Menu had tavern/pub staples and good menu of drinks from the bar. Clam chowder was a little better than expected and a burger was very welcome after a day on the mountain. They did have a kids menu if that is something you need to consider.“
“I would specifically like to highlight the chocolate cake. It was extremely rich and decadent, and it was so delicious. However, the showstopper was the single green grape hiding just under the side of whipped cream. This seedless delicacy is what sold me. I will have dreams about this. This is a sign of an aspiring chef. 10/10.“
