“After driving by Walter's Basin so many times, I finally stopped in for a meal today. I did not realize how large the inside of this restaurant was! The waitress suggested the Watermelon Margarita and that was super tasty! The menu had a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the Rainbow Trout dish. Great view overlooking Little Squam!“

“We had take-out breakfast from here. We ordered over the phone and was told it would take 15 minutes. That's what it took. Diane was very attentive to our needs. She even helped carry our large order to the car. When we sat at our table to eat, no one was disappointed with their meal. I had two eggs over easy with corned-beef hash and potatoes. YUMMY!!! The hash was just right. My only complaint is that I wanted more. However, the portions were appropriate. Thank you Annie's staff for a great start to my day.“

“Went last night with another couple. Our server Shannon was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Had drinks after outside while listening to a trio of musicians all while looking at the nearby river and covered bridge. Highly recommend!“

“I recently enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner that exceeded my expectations. The turkey was perfectly roasted, with tender, juicy meat and a crispy, flavorful skin. The stuffing was savory and well-seasoned, complementing the turkey beautifully. Side dishes like mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce were classic and comforting, rounding out the meal perfectly. The balance of flavors and textures made this dinner truly satisfying. Overall, it was a hearty and comforting meal that left me fully satisfied.“

“Food was phenomenal! Pork belly app was amazing! Short-rib Stroganoff melted in your mouth, and steak was cooked to perfection! We had Beth as our server/bartender who was amazing, helpful, and lots of fun! She made me the perfect espresso martini. Owner, Scott, was so nice and explained how the food was made. He came out and spoke with us for quite some time, and was very engaging. We are so happy we went for dinner and will definitely be back! Thanks Beth and Scott! We had a great night! “We stopped in Plymouth on a fluke, and we are so glad we did. The chicken fingers and homemade ranch were the best we ever tasted. The chef must be a wizard because the ranch was prepared with the perfect ratio of herbs, spices, and everything nice. The chicken had an amazing crust made out of some other wizardry. Don't get me started on the apple cider donuts. This place is definitely worth exiting the highway.“

“Went tonight, and for being very frequent diners, I was pretty shocked with the turn of events tonight. Our server, Joshua, was amazing and I do not fault him at all. We ordered the totchos which were so yummy!! And I ordered the Camp Steak, the same meal I get every time I go - I’ve had it close to a dozen times in recent years. After we finished the appetizer, the meal took about 30 additional minutes to come out, which seemed long but looking at other reviews, maybe their “norm”. Joshua even apologized on two separate occasions saying “the steak takes a while.” When it finally arrived, I was so disappointed. Apparently they “revamped” the menu and it came with a dry, inedible horseradish “crust” on top. I wish I took a picture of it - It looked so unappetizing I almost didn’t even dig in. However, I’m not one to complain often, and I was so looking forward to the steak, so I peeled right off. I think it had been sitting for some time cause it came off the steak like a block of concrete. I dug into the steak and potatoes (which I was again disappointed in because they had no flavor, due to the comparison of the delicious former potatoes with the yummy sauce). Now, in Camp’s defense, I did ask for my steak “rare to medium rare” and jokingly said “as rare as you can legally cook it,” but it wasn’t even cooked. I like a good mooing steak but this was likely not “legally to temperature”. This was mind boggling since it took SO long for the meal to come out, and that we were told “the steak takes so long cook”. I asked for it to go back to be cooked more but in the time that took the other at the table had finished so I asked for it to be boxed up - I didn’t want to be the only one at the table eating, especially after it had taken so long. Now, the only reason I’m here writing this review is because of how it was handled. I was expecting maybe to take off 20-50% of that meal - not the bill, just that meal. It wasn’t cooked, it had a dry disturbing crust on top, and it took forever to come out. But nothing…. Bill was given with two Swedish Fish and another rote apology. The manager Jason did come to the table to collect our payment and asked if we “wanted a dessert to go” but by that point the bad taste was already in my mouth (literally, I tried the crusty stuff from the second attempt and it was so strong and freezing cold) and I wanted to go home. I am so disappointed that this was how it was handled - it is not the standard we’ve been used to with Camp (whereas the standard up until now is we have had ZERO issues or complaints - it’s our favorite place to get a great, reliable meal.) I understand everyone has an “off night” but when things are that far off, at least try to make it right, and not with offering a dessert as we are getting ready to leave. And, for those who love the Camp Steak, please let this be your warning that the newly “revamped” version is not even close to the original!! Picture of the veggies from my “take-home meal” with the ironic box they gave me. I updated it to reflect how sad I was“

“We were very Lucky to be there on one of the last best nights to sit outside in September. The views and sunset were spectacular. We were seated near the fire pit which was perfect as the sun went down, it got a little chilly but nothing that needed a coat. The fire pit ,great views and outside you can not beat it. Our waitress arrived asked us for our drink app and dinner order all at once. We ordered drink and app. Told her not ready for dinner order yet. Drinks took a long time to come out for Prosecco and beer. Then gave her our dinner order. The apps came out same time as meal. I dislike that soooo much because apps now cost as much as the meals. We had to box up the apps. Which was a huge salad and a ceviche. The meals were of good size and fresh. The rib eye my husband said was very good. My chicken was also good. The waitress came over to check on us. Never asked us for another drink or if we wanted dessert. She left the bill. From time in and out was under an hour. Felt to rushed for a great outdoor experience. Waitress seemed like she wanted to be done at 8pm. Will try again“

“Great family friendly atmosphere and food. Large stone fire places really give a cozy vibe and they have plenty of snowmobile parking if you are looking for a destination dinner/ride. They are located just off the trail system. Service is excellent and we all love the bread. A big shoutout to all the staff that took care of us this past Saturday night; we had another great experience! Ask for Ashlyn when you visit, you won’t be disappointed:)“

With no alcohol 4 adults and 5 kids(1 baby) under $ 200!! not much 5-10 min driving distance on the Campton side of waterville estates. Def pleasantly surprised. services were quick and accommodating. after reading reviews its not high end thees a small racern on one side good local music. wouldn't expect high end stks and seafood. if u see ribeye on menu and only that stk option stick to burgers, sandwiches ect. kuds menu was great, more than your norm“
