“What a great way to use an old train station!! The high ceilings and train memorabilia is great to look at while waiting for your food. We ordered the Birria and the Korean BBQ tacos. 16 dollars a plate for 3 tacos, and those tacos are abundant in flavor as well as a serving! The waitstaff was great and the trainee that we had this evening was doing a great job.
We have never visited here before, but we will definitely be back when we venture north again! Thanks for a great meal!!“

We sampled the Pork Tenderloin Saltombuca and the Short Rib entree's and Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert: all were prepared and presented very well and full of flavors.“

“Our experience at Stickney’s and the Omni Mount Washington Resort was truly one of those experiences that you wish you could bottle up and relive over and over again. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed and cared for, but Claudiau, our server, was truly the standout.

Claudiau was absolutely incredible. By the end of our first visit, he genuinely felt like an old friend. He was attentive in all the ways you want a great server to be: our drinks were always taken care of, he checked in with us when appropriate, and he was always available without ever making us feel rushed or like we were being hovered over. More than anything, he made us feel appreciated. He had such a warm and personable way about him that made the entire experience feel special.

He even helped us secure reservations for our next evening, which we learned can be incredibly difficult to get. Having Claudiau help us made the whole process completely seamless, and we were so grateful. Unfortunately, he had the following night off, so we knew we wouldn’t get to see him again during our stay. At the end of our second visit, he surprised us by bringing over two small bottles of champagne, each with enough for a couple of glasses. It was such an incredibly thoughtful gesture and the perfect way to end our time there.

And honestly, Claudiau wasn’t even the only person who made us feel this way. Every server and staff member we encountered was exceptional. The manager came over to check on us during one of our meals, noticed that I wasn’t eating much, and asked if everything was okay. I told him everything was wonderful and that I was just dealing with some pretty bad heartburn. Without hesitation, he went into the kitchen and came back with water mixed with baking soda, ginger tea, and even a sleeve of Tums. He didn’t charge us for any of it. It was such a small thing, but it said so much about the level of care and hospitality we experienced throughout the resort.

We also had an $800 bottle of Opus One during our stay, so I’m sure that may have contributed to some of the extra special treatment we received, but even beyond that, everyone we encountered was genuinely wonderful. The hospitality was exceptional across the board.

We stayed in the Presidential Wing, which made an already incredible experience feel even more elevated. Honestly, the entire weekend felt like we were being treated like royalty. From the accommodations, to the food, to the service, to the little unexpected gestures that made us feel remembered and appreciated, everything exceeded our expectations.

We already miss our trip and genuinely wish we could relive that weekend over and over again. We cannot wait to return to the Omni Mount Washington. We’re looking forward to seeing the familiar faces we met this time, meeting new ones, and simply experiencing the resort all over again. A sincere 10/10 experience from start to finish. We feel incredibly lucky that we had the opportunity to stay here, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.“

“We had the $10. burger special with choice of fries. It was great. They were busy with only one server, but it went very smoothly with teamwork. A potential guest decided she could make her own parking spot at the front door and was asked by another guest not to park there. Instead of helping her elderly mother into the restaurant and then moving her car, she got angry, moved her car and then dragged her mother into the restaurant. She wanted to be seated in a closed section, which she was told she could not. She was belligerent and privileged. She blamed everyone else for her problems and blamed it on prejudice because of her NY plates...that no one could see. The food and service were great, the floor show was a bonus.“

“My vegan Caesar salad was good but not sure if market it as a Caesar. Nothing like one but still delicious.

Service was excellent. Greg was very attentive and rang everyone up separately.

A little pricey, but honestly not a lot more than the base lodge and MUCH better quality.

“My Old English Sheepdog group held its 9th annual weekend gathering at the Wayside Inn. We were a small group this year, only 20 members and 14 dogs. 14 very large dogs! Sarah and her staff made us feel so very welcomed. Very friendly, and attentive to all our needs. The meals were absolutely delicious! Especially the French toast caserole! If your looking to stay at a quaint NE BnB, that is beyond pet friendly, where the food is "TDF", I highly recommend the Wayside Inn.“

“Came here for a girls overnight getaway and dined here. Loved the ambiance of the wine cellar (bring a sweater-its chilly down there! Menu is seasonal and slim, but literally everything was delicious, especially the scallop dish! Waitstaff was short staffed and a little curt, but everything else was delightful.“
